This is straight up the best in Dickson, if not Canberra and Australia. Noodle house serve up the best laksa you will ever have the pleasure of tasting but a jaunt down their highly varied menu will not disappoint. I try to get here a couple of times a month, a great Canberra family business success story. DONT SLEEP. Not... More

Cheap. Quick. Vego Laksa has depth, right amount of spice and crunchy bits (not fishy/shrimp tasting like other 'vego' laksas).

The laksa we once flocked to Dickson to eat is no longer, it is thin & with nowhere near the richness or flavour it used to have :/

I used to eat at the Dickson restaurant many years ago and it was the best laksa I've ever had. I have tried many all around Canberra and none of them come close. Having recently tried the laksa here i found it was just as good. Jumbo laksa full of meat and flavour. A cheap and delicious go to for... More

I love it, honest, cheap, yummy and huge servings. Always popular and you get the feeling you need to move along due to the stream of customers coming in. If you want a brilliant Laksa this is the place. Oh and they do have a extensive menu, but honestly I only ever eat the Laksa. Great value for money and... More

On Friday, I went in and got a laksa and some spring rolls for dinner. The spring rolls were delicious- salad they came on was old, carrots stale. The laksa was what I wanted to complain most about. The container was chockers full of noodles, hardly any chicken at all! The actual soup was extremely spicy and lumpy. I think... More

No idea what the attraction is as the restaurant was busy with walk-ins and takeaways. Prices are reasonable but food is inedible. Left 3/4 of both plates ... we were offered to takeaway but couldn't stomach the thought. Mass-produced glug.

Very ordinary meal. Dim sims were straight out of a freezer pack, processed crap. Noodle dish I had was bland and flavourless. Refused to accept MasterCard credit card. There are plenty more better options in Dickson

Have gone here a few times now and every time it is exactly the same. great fast service, BYO beers, cheap Laksa that is HUGE and filled with so much flavour. I am not surprised that the place is always full and needing to turn people away at times.

My brother went here regularly over 16 years ago when he was doing his research at CSIRO. He tells me the only time in his life where he went to a place 4 times in 2 days. I understand why, the Laksa is fantastic as were all the other dishes. Great spot and well priced. Make sure you book the... More
