In all our 250+ lunch time visits my spouse has the same 'sweet & sour prawns' while I have sampled all the items on the menu with gusto. We love the sate sticks or popiah goreng and I am a great fan of the nasi...goreng kampung, but I suggest have an extra fried egg on top.More

I stumbled upon this place and am so glad that I did. Hidden away in a relatively out of the way spot, this place delivers high quality and very reasonably priced Malay food. Add the excellent lunchtime menu deals and Malaysian Chapter is almost too...good to go past.More

The best Malaysian food in Canberra! It was good that they kept it real authentic like how a Malaysian food should taste like. The Nasi Goreng Kampung portion was generous and the taste has the 'char' taste, just like how a perfect nasi goreng kampung...should taste like. The curry laksa was very authentic, fragrant and generous with condiments and spicy. I even requested for extra cili potong (cut chillies) to have with the curry laksa. It would be nice if the restaurant could advertise/testify that the meat and chicken suppliers are from halal suppliers as there have been speculations and hearsay/confusion that the meat and chicken may not sourced from halal suppliers. The interior may need some refreshing and more modern touch though. It reminds me of the old Colliseum steak house in Jalan TAR, Kuala Lumpur. Good food, old eatery.More

They have good lunch menu. Lunch time is not very busy here. I think the winning dish there would be the mee mamak. The hot teh tarik (tea with condensed milk) is a good drink to have with any meal. It has authentic Malaysian taste....Dinner time could be a bit busy. Still worth going there. I like the beef rendang and the spring roll from the banquet menu.More

The food was tasty, good value, fresh and varied with friendly, prompt service. A solid recommendation.

With only about 10 customers, I still have to wait for about 25 minutes for my takeaway (one fried rice and fried noodle). The food quality is also poor. Will not return for sure!!

The decor might be a little plain but the food is fantastic. Great flavours through out the 2 entrees and 2 mains we shared. The service was pretty good considering how busy they were with in house, delivery and pick up.

A great restaurant that we go to frequently and if you're looking for traditional Malay food in Canberra, this is the place to head to. Staff are great and always accommodating and the cost of meals is cheap. The food is full of flavor, plentiful...and quickly serviced.More

This is one of the best restaurants in Canberra. It does the best vegetarian Malaysian food I have ever had. The banquets are very well done, and very reasonably priced. I love it that they offer Entertainment book or NRMA app discounts. The service is...excellent too. Best to book ahead as it is very popular.More

I am Malaysian and know my food well like we all do and obsess over it. For a mid size restaurant tucked away in a light industrial area of belconnen, this restaurant punches high above its waist. Recommended original and authentic dishes include Malaysian chicken...curry , satay, roti chanai, Nasi Lemak, char kuay Teow, Rojak, Nasi goreng kampung , sago and chendol. I am sure there are more but these are authentic. In particular, the char kuay Teow is probably the best in Canberra. !More
