We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable, atmosphere relaxed, and all the food was beautifully cooked and tasted wonderful. We recommend the squid salad and prawn pasta - every ingredient chosen thoughtfully to create sophisticated flavour combinations.

We first found Trev's years ago when we went there for breakfast, and based on our positive experience, have been going ever since. At the end of last year we had dinner outside because we had the dogs with us. It was pleasant, with excellent service . One of the diners stated that the steak was the best he had tasted. We also had a wonderful three course meal with friends just before lockdown this year. The entrees are innovative, with a good variety. The corn fritters and haloumi pops are particular favourites.
I mentioned post- Covid as, even with Canberra's great record, I am keen to eat out at somewhere I consider safe. Trev's is perfect - santiser at the door, great social distancing between tables, and wide tables so one is even a reasonable distance from companions. I hasten to say that we still felt companionable and could talk and hear as usual.
At the moment the menu is a little changed from the grand offerings in the past. However, it is still expansive enough to have an excellent meal. We had the individual plate of starters, a choice of main course and choice of dessert. My salmon was as delicious as usual, served with appetising accompaniments , and a very reasonable size. The other meals were also delicious, if the satisfied smiles of my companions are anything to go by.
However, I won the dessert - Trev's semi freddo with popcorn! The chef knows what flavours to put together on every occasion, but excelled here.
We all left feeling that we had enjoyed our first meal inside a restaurant since lockdown, with the health precautions and excellent meals both playing an important part.

Two friends had an early dinner during the week and were pleasantly surprised to find Trev’s was a great choice.
There was lots of choice on the menu and our meals arrived at the same time. Lately I have discovered this does not always happen and I judge a cafe or restaurant badly if the meals come out at different times.
The staff were helpful and cheerful which is another good point.
Both of us enjoyed our meal and the only downside was the music was too loud for my liking and the tables were too high or the seating too low.
After dinner while paying the bill we had a very enjoyable chat with one of the staff and I can highly recommend Trev’s.
The major downside was the music and really we should have sat outside to get away from the extra noise.
So top of the list are excellent staff, a good menu and fast service. I will certainly return and can recommend Trev’s for service and good meal.

Recently dined here for my Birthday dinner. The staff were quite friendly and the menu was interesting. We shared some entrees which were delicious. Then came the mains. My Salmon was quite a small serve of fish, and it was overcooked. My partner's pork belly contained a lot of fat. We ordered a pizza to take home with us. It was meant to have anchovies. We could taste a hint of anchovies, but no actual anchovies. Hmmm. Our experience was ok but we have no plans to need to return.

Went to this great little cafe, good atmosphere and lovely staff. The dinner menu was a bit odd with not a lot of choices as there were no sides and salads, however when we asked the waitress she presented the breakfast/lunch menu which had lovely salad choices. We combined dinner and lunch menu and came up with a delicious meal. The salads were amazing and really complimented the pasta and pizza dishes.

Took family to breakfast & found customer service great and responsive to the needs of our little kids - so much so that some babycinnos were whipped up to keep them occupied. Coffee and food was also fantastic. If we were locals, this would be our go-to.

We went to Trev's at Dickson after searching for a restaurant with gluten free meals as one of our mum's group is gluten free. We had haloumi pops as a gluten free entree to share, (so good!!), and she had the gluten free salmon as a main. All the food was delicious!! Atmosphere was great! It was busy but you could still hear your friends talk, and the waiter was so friendly and helpful! And on the way out we were able to split the bill at the register, which really suited us for our group booking. 10 out of 10 for Trev's, will definitely be back!!

Went to Trevs for my sons farewell off to the defence force with family. We had the best night, Ra was our waiter and was amazing, great attitude and very welcoming. The food was beautiful, rarely do u see everyone’s plates completely finished , we had mains and desserts all which were beautiful. They gave us complimentary entree to share, very generous, would certainly come back!! Thanks Ra for a great night. Sorry we didn’t take any pics of food but trust me it was all gorgeous!

We hadn't been to Trev's for quite a long time so we were delighted to find out s as good as ever. My sons loved the pizzas. The special was beef short ribs with mash and a balsamic glaze that were quite spectacular. The service is always very friendly and helpful. A really lovely family-friendly place.

Had takeaway tonight for two families. A mix of pizza, pasta dishes and halloumi. Pizza is some of the best in town (including the gluten-free pizza), pasta was very fresh and tasty and the halloumi pops were delicious. Service was friendly, relaxed and attentive. Really good value and high quality food. Thank you Trevs and staff, will be back!

We had brunch at Trev’s to try the Brunch Platter - your choice of any three items from the menu in miniature form on a long platter plus a juice of the day. It was a great way to try a few different menu items in one visit. There were a few gluten free items to choose from and the staff were helpful and checked the details to make sure all the elements were strictly gf. The place was packed - I’m glad we booked - and buzzing with noise and activity. Impossible to have a quiet conversation, but great energy.

My wife and I went to the this cafe twice for breakfast and the have rated on Trevs on our first visit. The second time they were closed with no note on the door explaining why. The time I parked the car and walked to door to see whether they were opening that Sunday at later time at least three other groups had shown up.
The food was great. The three dishes Trevs Taste Collective was great way to enjoy breakfast, I highly recommend this it’s three small servings that sum up to an average size breakfast. Service was ok but a small accident in the juice area threw the place in to panic. My second coffee got forgotten and I had to chase it up

Ordered it for the first time, its local to me but never eaten here. Ordered online, the food arrived hot!. The serves were very generous and delicious. One of my orders was a pasta dish with chicken, usually, I don't order as you get 3 bits of chicken to a huge amount of pasta. Trevs was very fair, plenty, always like more chicken but definitely fair. It was delicious as was the garlic bread and salad. I have enough for a second meal. Extremely pleased and this will definitely be one of my "go-to" restaurants. Cant wait to check it out in person. Thanks, Trev!

Had a very pleasant breakfast. A wide range of options available. I opted for the Taste Collective which enables three small dishes from a list of about 20 options. Very happy with my choices, particularly the has brown with mushrooms and aioli. A small juice of the day is also included. My wife had corn fritters.
Great coffee and great service.
Very happy to recommend.

Went here with my husband after seeing that it is no.1 for italian food in canberra on here and they could be further from the truth.
Walked in to find all the glassware so dirty that you can clearly see water marks on them from all the tables around you as the sun came through.
The water that was sitting on the table was warm and had mold on the bottom of the glass bottle.
Waitress didnt know what she was selling and could not understand her.
Ordered to chicken scollopine thinking its simple enough that nothing could wrong, it was alright.
3 peices of chicken and a heap of mash in the middle of soup/sauce.
The only thing that saved our night was the dessert that was very nice.
Im sorry but please polish your glassware and clean your water bottles as it not hygienic
