We were looking for somewhere special for a family celebration. Trev's at Dickson was excellent and hit the spot - literally and figuratively. The meal was delicious, well presented and generous in their servings. This is good honest food. We tried six different main course...and most of the desserts as well. Everyone was happy and satisfied. Excellent. Highly recommend it.More
Went for a weekender to the snow and stayed in Canberra overnight. Wife picked Trevs and we were well treated to an enjoyable breakfast. Staff were fantastic and very friendly. I had an avocado with poached eggs on toast while my wife had the 3...choices and a juice concept which is a brilliant idea. You have a choice out of 17 items. My wife had spinach Benny- corn fritter and brioche slider with an apple juice. Kids had the ham and cheese toasty with hot chocolate. Coffee also was a winner too as I am very fussy with my coffee. Highly recommendMore
Perfect! Everyone's happy. Thanks for dropping in and taking the time to let us know.
We were a bit disappointed in Trev’s after wanting to go for ages as it was generally too busy. The rating are perhaps very generous ?? It was a bit cold in the restaurant as the entrance door opens toward the seating area and delivers...a cold rush of air every time people arrived or left. The door could easily be reversed but … Staff were ok but a lack of experience or training showed up where staff could do 1 trip instead of 3, and open their eyes as to what’s on the table, what can go and what else is needed. Meals were ok but nothing that special. The Orecchiette was a little bland and they weren’t separated ie most of the pasta was stuck together in small clusters. Price was average. It’s probably one of the few western restaurants in Dickson. Maybe our expectations were a little high, but I wouldn’t claim it to a higher end venue.More
We have been here quite a few times and I have reserved leaving a review until a knew this was one of my favourite places to be in Canberra for dinner. The food is delicious, the prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly....During dinner I looked around at other tables and I could see everyone else was having a good time too. I think the only downfall is the parking, but I don’t think they can help that. The rest of the family really enjoyed the meal as well. Each time we go everything is consistent and delicious. Highly recommend by us, who are huge Canberra FoodiesMore
Had an amazing breakfast. Coffee was divine. Everyone at our table was raving about their food and coffee. We had “The Taste Collective”, your choice of 3 out of a range of 17 different dishes, on a plate. Bruschetta, Avocado and BELT slider. Would definitely...visit again.More
Excellent breakfast!! Best scrambled eggs I've ever had! A great menu. Good service and very generous serving sizes. Thanks guys!
We arranged to meet a friend for lunch and luckily she knew of this cafe. We were able to park right in front. The ambience is nothing special but the friendly and helpful service was outstanding and the food was sensational. We loved the Roast...Pumpkin and Chicken Salad. The balsamic vinegar, assorted salad leaves and walnuts were wonderful. The hot chocolates were also great. This cafe deserves its high TripAdvisor ranking and we're looking forward to returning next time we're in the ACT.More
Lunching with a friend (2 mums with young toddlers), we had the most beautiful meal! The food was absolutely delicious, but the service was absolutely out of this world! With little people, cafes aren’t always delighted to see you, but the staff at Trev’s couldn’t...have been more helpful or friendly. We will DEFINITELY be back!!More
It's a small place with a limited menu for gluten free but they did handle GF correctly for us. Other than that, it's just a place. Out of the way and nothing special about the food.
My wife and I went to the this cafe twice for breakfast and the have rated on Trevs on our first visit. The second time they were closed with no note on the door explaining why. The time I parked the car and walked to...door to see whether they were opening that Sunday at later time at least three other groups had shown up. The food was great. The three dishes Trevs Taste Collective was great way to enjoy breakfast, I highly recommend this it’s three small servings that sum up to an average size breakfast. Service was ok but a small accident in the juice area threw the place in to panic. My second coffee got forgotten and I had to chase it upMore
We had brunch at Trev’s to try the Brunch Platter - your choice of any three items from the menu in miniature form on a long platter plus a juice of the day. It was a great way to try a few different menu items...in one visit. There were a few gluten free items to choose from and the staff were helpful and checked the details to make sure all the elements were strictly gf. The place was packed - I’m glad we booked - and buzzing with noise and activity. Impossible to have a quiet conversation, but great energy.More
Kirt & the gang was so accommodating & placed us outside at our request as inside was pretty full. Started a trend... lol Had an awesome feed as usual & being my birthday was made to feel special by the crew... Thanks gang 😍
I had dinner at Trev's tonight and was extremely impressed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the short rib special which was even better than I hoped it would be. The rest of my party very much enjoyed their mains and desserts...also. The food rivalled that of more expensive restaurants, but at very reasonable prices. I was also really impressed by how friendly and welcoming the staff were - we felt very comfortable and well looked after. A very enjoyable evening. We will definitely be back!More
Extremely friendly service from start to finish! Went for a late brunch and the menu had lots of options but we both opted for the big breakfast which was great value and really tasty. Looking forward to returning to try some other dishes!
