We arrived for lunch at 1.15, quite hungry as we had travelled quite a long distance and hadn't found anywhere to eat. When we arrived there were empty tables and the waitress went into the kitchen to speak to the chef. She came back and said the chef had refused to cook any more meals. This is in France where... I have eaten at the Auberge de La Tour many times and never been disappointed. The hotel is a family run business and that is the almosphere of the restaurant also. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food and the service is excellent. You do need to book though as they are becoming more popular specially at weekends and... More

Very nice restaurant in rural France. Excellent food. The staff tried their best to serve someone who was lactose intolerant which is not easy in France. The restaurant is not geared to foreign tourists as there was no menu in English.

We ate on the shady terrace with a view of their gardens and swimming pool. We had a perfect Sunday lunch! Can recommend the Auberge... More

I went for a meal midweek with friends having been once before about a year ago. On both occasions staff were helpful and friendly and food just lovely; well cooked and beautifully presented. I'd very happily return here for good quality food at reasonable prices.

Went to this restaurant as it was recommended by my parents. My wife and I were out celebrating during our honeymoon. The first interesting and attracting feature of the restaurant was that you could build your own menu - you could pick anything off the a la carte menu and make up a 3, 4 or 5 course menu as... We were directed to this restaurant by our hostess at the nearby bed and breakfast where we are staying. The restaurant was busy for a Wednesday night and we were lucky to get a table for 2 without a prior reservation. Waiting staff were very polite and we soon got used to the French way of eating.....pleasant breaks between ordering... More
