I was taken with my daughter and her husband to celebrate my 82nd Birthday. I enjoyed every aspect of the occasion and can recommend the venue and its surroundings to others.

I have eaten here many times and throughly enjoyed the meals. Today was not its usual standard. The lamb was fatty and tough. Lemon Meringue was tasteless and meringue sloppy. Portion sizes seemed to have shrunk as well. Lovely venue and fantastic service.More

Called into St Aidans today in the Ferguson Valley. The meal was so disappointing, and the deserts should not have left the kitchen, they were so bad. Aren’t going back!More

My wife and I went here for lunch today as we were having a weekend in Ferguson Valley. We had no idea what it was like as we had not read any reviews nor had it been recommends to us. Upon entering we were immediately...welcomed by a staff member and taken straight to our table for 2 alongside the full length window. Menu was small but varied, food quality was excellent , really enjoyed everything we ordered. Service was polite and enthusiastic the whole time. Loved the atmosphere and outlook thru that huge full length window. Will definitely be backMore

We called by recently to sample the wines. The owners provide guests with a list of wines on offer - you choose 5 to taste for $10 complete with some cheese and crackers. If you buy wine then the $10 come off. We had an...enjoyable time and particularly enjoyed the white wines. Recommended.More

Having lived in this region for 30+ years we're always looking for new places to go that aren't 120k's away. Right under our noses has been St Aidan's for the entire time. So finally getting there for lunch was a reward unto itself. And the...food and wine just added to the prize. Lovely grounds, attentive staff, gorgeous wines and a tasty selection of starters, entrees and mains had us ooing and aaing delightedly. And for a rainy Tuesday the place was brimming with people. The reason according to one of the staff: "We're open". And they are. Seven days a week. So just go.More
Hi Mike A Thank you for your feedback from your first visit with us at St Aidan Wines. We are pleased to hear the wines, food and service met your expectations and look forward to welcoming you back again soon
We have been to St Aidans many times in recent years but our recent experience has made us think twice about returning. There were four of us for a Sunday lunch at 1.00 pm A cheese starter was described as a 'three cheese ' taster,...and when we mentioned there were only two cheeses, another was just plonked on the table, no apology. We waited an hour and a half for our main meal, again no explanation or apology. The white chocolate tart for dessert was runny and tasteless. In the past we have always had great experiences at St Aidans and we understand they must have off days, but an apology would have gone a long way.More

We visited Monday lunchtime on a chilly wet day so the menu option was a pot luck 2 courses for $50 each. The dining room was lovely and cosy and the food excellent. We had 4 different dishes to share - GF cauliflower tart, barramundi,...chicken and pork. All delicious. The wines are excellent too. Excellent value and highly recommended.More
Hi Aussieanna2013, Thank you for your lovely feedback on our Moreish Monday Menu. Our chefs love the opportunity to create special dishes incorporating our wonderful local produce. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
After visiting the Wellington Dam and finding the cafe closed, we were really needing a late morning coffee. We were so pleased we found St Aidens. I said we only wanted morning tea and the staff member was still so welcoming. She took us to...a lovely table with a beautiful view over the back lawn and countryside. Our coffees and scones with jam and cream arrived very quickly. The drinks were not as hot as we’d like, but the scones made up for it. The jam was homemade and we were able to buy a jar there. Generous quantity of jam and cream. Homemade Florentine was delicious too. There’s also some beautiful local artwork to view. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, even though we weren’t interested in tasting or buying wine or having a meal (unlike some winery restaurants we’ve experienced). Highly recommend.More

A group of us visited St Aidan’s for lunch. We had 3 gluten intolerant people within the group. The selection of food is small but perfectly cooked. I shared the Mexican chicken and the pan fried snapper; both were superb. The gluten free deconstructed lemon...cheesecake and apple and rhubarb pie were amazing. Would highly recommend this place. Not cheap but delish.More

Nice place and reasonable food but quite expensive, the fish at $40.00 really came with nothing else of substance, so you need to order a side, that brings the fish lunch to about $50 per person, just to expensive for what it is.More
