Called as we always do when in the area and once again we were not disappointed. Lovely beer and the best crab sandwiches ever!

In the corner of this historic sea front village. It has its own brewery and the beer was great. Very busy with walkers and visitors, the menu was quite simple but the food was great.

Great pub with superb sea views. Set just in one corner of a village green and you can go take your drinks out onto the green. They view their now beer, when we visited they had 4 on hand pull - all the ones we had very good. Decent service although we weren't there that long really and we didn't... More

Like most people, we stopped for a snack and a drink. Although every table was taken, there is no sense of its being crowded. We had a wholesome soup followed by kipper and crab pate. Cheerful service.

I've been coming here for a few years and it's one of my favourite pubs in the UK. Their crab sandwich is the best anywhere (much better than another local pub that is supposedly famous for their crab sandwich). I will be going again tomorrow as a last day of holiday treat and unlike other people I will arrive before... More

Haven't been to the Ship for a few years. Visited yesterday and got to say how excellent it is. You have to book a long way in advance. Food was excellent as was service and friendliness...crab and kipper meals were just lovely. Cash or debit card only.

This pub is a gem, with fast changing range of beers all brewed on site to suit all tastes. Coffee and snacks available. The pub is clean and fresh and the service excellent. It makes apologies on a chalk board in the spotless clean toilets for the wet and sandy floors. It's on a beach next to the sea, so... More
