Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We decided to grab lunch here before popping over to Caversham Wildlife Park. We ordered Fish & Chips, Pork Belly Burger & Potato Hash with Eggs Benedict. Fish & Chips serving was pretty good, fish was nice, tender and crispy and the chips were nice...and generous. Pork belly burger was great. The pork belly was nice and crispy, with a good amount of fat. Potato Hash was yummy and the eggs were cooked well. What topped our experience was the good service we received from the staff. One of the gentlemen was very attentive and checked in on how our food was. The kids were also given free ice-cream in exchange for high fives. Overall a very nice place to have a meal with your family.More

Bottomless brunch booked on Saturday, easy process book and pay online. Great experience, perhaps not on a Saturday morning when it's busy with young families and tourists.

This place is very different and well organized according to other places. The food is amazing. The owner is very sweet… Ever the best café. The cost is fair for everything and the atmosphere is good.

Came here for breakfast with my gf and it was so good we had to come back before our trip ended. Customer service was great, the food amazing and the atmosphere quite homey. It's too bad we live hours away, otherwise we'd be regulars for...sure! This cafe is famous of its egg benedict and that’s one of my brekkie favourites, so worth a try. My Egg Benedict, one with mushroom and one with bacon. Both cooked beautifully and tasted delicious, Highly recommend cafe near Caversham wildlife parkMore

Thankyou to the team at Village Cafe for our delicious high tea. There was plenty of food per person, the included strawberry spritz was delicious and the homemade sausage rolls were a favourite for everyone.

We have been coming to this cafe on a regular basis for a number of years and the new owners treat us like kings and queens. Very personal service and always greeted with a smile, the food is good value with ample portion size and...very tasty and we were given an extra piece of cake for being regular customers. Will keep coming back for sure.More

If you are wanting to treat your friends to a special morning tea outing, I would not reccommend you go to this cafe to do it. I booked the 'deluxe high tea,' and I was heavily disappointed by the assortment and quality of food that...was served to us. It most certainly was not worth the $55 per head I paid, which incidentally had to be paid at the time of the booking. The booking also stated that if we were 15 minutes late for our booking time, our reservation would not be saved. With this in mind, we all made a point of arriving to the cafe on time. Upon arrival we were directed where to sit, and there we sat waiting for 20 minutes before being served a cold beverage. 10 minutes later 2x 3 tiered stands with the most unexcitable, bite sized sample portions of food was served. The jam along with what tasted to be melted cream from a can was served in two huge bowls for 3x scones that were smaller than the size of a mini muffin. The stale bread enclosed a tasteless, lettuce and chicken filling with no mayo for sandwiches. The small seafood brioche buns were disgusting. The 3x savoury sausage rolls appeared to be cut into pieces from one sausge roll (probably to save on money) 3x party pies and other cakes obviously bought in bulk from woolworths or coles, and as for another disappointment, there were no tea, coffee pots with condiments on the table to access unlimited tea and coffee? You had to place your drinks order with walk in customers and wait. Improvement needs to be addressed here in a big way! Although we were served by a delightful young lady. The rest of our experience was a major let down. Do not waste your time, effort or money here.More

Recently our D’Vine seniors community group spent a beautiful Autumn afternoon at Whiteman Park. The cafe staff were very supportive as were the staff at the Visitor Centre and Revolutions Transport museum. The hospitality and service of the staff were very generous. We went on...a week day and it was very relaxed and peaceful. Good place for older ones as well as those in wheelchairs. Thankyou Whiteman Park!More
