Be prepared to simple tables in a half closed environment, still all the different courses of fish varieties were excellently prepared, but the best was the grilled octopus

Tasty food made of fresh products. the menu very complete. Best of all, the waitress. Fresh brótola.
love going there! went twice for lunch, quick service, very good atmosphere! friendly service, young people! menu with meat, different fishes, sushi. You have to go!! Fish Market also in Carrasco, now! No reservations.
The summary summarizes my opinion. This place is an easy-going spot with no fancy airs where you will have the best food in the Manantiales area. The service is just standard, the setting is informal but the food tastes awesome!!! Go for the octopus or...the ceviche, sushi pieces or even the curry. Just make sure to take your coat at night as it can get cold!More
This option got better and better, just when other alternatives are becoming more erratic in quality and service in Manantiales and La Barra. Awesome food, fast service, cool place, reasonable price for Punta doe Este. Highly recommended.
Although fish and seafood is their best, they offer all kind of meats and pasta.I was disappointed though when I asked for the black seabass, with cabbage and asked to change cabbage for other green and said it was not possible. I had a nice...perfumed curry, and the most perfect fried potatoes. The service is , with the outside tables, the bestMore
We had visited this restaurant 5-6 years ago and liked it, had the pleasure of going back and we were not disappointed! It’s exactly how we remembered it. Great place to people watch, fast and efficient service. Place is always busy, but don’t let this...stop you. They do turn the tables quickly. Hostess, has a clip board with the wait list, you can wait at the small bar area and have a drink and watch people. It’s not a huge menu, and not a frilly menu, it’s just great fresh and seafood dishes! Every dish was great, our waiter spoke English, and we had a great time. It’s an outdoor place, with some cover, tables are picnic tables, bar seating and high top seating. Very casual. We enjoyed the octopus, tuna and salmon all cooked to perfection.More
We love this place! The food gets better and better...it's a very casual restaurant, with food to share...a lot of fish and other type of plates too! Love the outdoor/indoor setting. Prices are not cheap, but it's worth the visit. The service is great and...always the same faces around!More
We went Thursday night, we arrived around 8.30pm and got the last table after that the restaurant, that it’s small, got very very busy. The service was very good, we have octopus, fish sandwich, meat sandwich, polenta, fries, caipirinhas, and some beers. Everything was perfect....Portions are average size, if you are an eater maybe you should order some side dishes to feel full. We paid usd200 for 4. Our pet was welcome. Free street parking. For sure I place to try when you are in Manantiales area.More
After a day at the beach Fish Market is a great stop for lunch. Good seafood, friendly service and a very relaxed atmosphere makes you feels as almost continuing to be at the beach.
We go to Fishmarket every summer. It never disappoints. Grilled octopus, local fresh fish (brotola or lenguado) fried rice are some of their top dishes. Good desserts as well. Location is great and service is cool. Minor complaints about their sushi (uneven quality) and their...home made lemonade (tastes very artificial). Go early or wait in line. No reservations are accepted. Relatively expensive.More
We’been at this Restaurant quite a few times. I just love its relax atmosphere and profesional service. The fish of the day and the octopus are my favorites.
We wanted to eat fish that night and we went for it at Fish Market. They don't take reservations so you better show up rather early for Punta del Este standards (9:00pm). Earlier even better. It gets crowded very quickly 'cause the place is somewhat...small. The food experience is very good and would also highly recommend the pasta. Not very good for large groups, max 5 people are comfortably seatedMore
Nice place, excellent service, waiter very friendly. Small tables, people sitting ok, if you are more it gets complicated.
We have been to Punta del Este every summer for the last 8 years, and one place were you can never go wrong is this one. Excelent Clericot. Brotola as fresh as you can get. Always delicious. Try also the pulpo al hierro.
