An excellent restaurant in the magnificent countryside surrounded by paddocks, olive trees and grape vines. Even on a cold, wet day the expansive venue was light, warm and inviting. The food was excellent as was the service from Katlyn and Laura. Warm fresh bread with...Olive Oil was served as a Starter. We chose Quail and Octopus for Entree (the Quail was wrapped in prosciutto and separated while the Octopus was large and succulent). Main courses of Lamb Shanks and Barramundi were equal to many of the good city dining establishments. 2 different local beers on tap are available, a mid strength and a full strength, both of which were very good. The local wine on offer was an excellent lighter style Shiraz which complemented our food, nicely. A reasonably extensive wine list offers alternatives. A Cheese Plate to finish comprised 2 different varieties which were complemented by fruit and crispy bread. Be sure to book to avoid disappointment! This is a winner.More

Lovely spot at the bottom of the lane overlooking some lovely olive gardens. Home made pasta dish - scialatielli was rustic and delightfully tasty, generous portion of potatoes and lovely fresh rocket salad all tasted great, the barramundi left us full though sauce was slightly...salty. Will definitely return on a nice summers day and try their pizza.More

An amazing experience in suburban Melbourne. This is not a cheap restaurant by any means but the food, drink and service are second to none. World class in every way. Start in the bar with a glass of their Brut followed by a bottle of...their Sauvignon Blanc with dinner. Highly recommend the Quail and Octopus entrees and the Barramundi main. The home baked bread with olive oil is an added touch. A must on a special occasion.More

We recently booked a function at Olivigna and all my guests were blown away. The staff were fantastic and accommodated all dietary requirements, the venue was stunning and the food delicious. Highly recommend a visit!

My partner and l went today for a nice casual lunch. We ordered the anti pesto plate for two $42. What came out was some pathetic excuse for an anti pesto we have ever been served up. What we once raved about this place now...has over the last two outings totally destroyed any thought of ever comibg out again. There was another couple we got chatting with next to us who agreed that what we got for the money was off the ricther scale. Their comment that it didn't even present nicely. Being a chef for 31 years and when you have access to such beautiful foods l find it nothing but lack of unskilled, no love, and extremely poor for any decent chef to produce that crap. Lost us for good!More

Absolutely amazing place. We went there last weekend with our family and cannot recommend it enough! The place felt like you were in Italy and the service was great. All of us enjoyed our food and there wasn’t one issue! Would definitely come back and...recommend this place to everyone!!More

We had visited Olivigna several years ago for dinner with our family and loved it. We were lucky to be given a $300 gift voucher for Olivigna recently, so some months ago my husband and I went for dinner, and had the sharing plate. We...were disappointed to find it was a set menu and we wouldn't have ordered some of the food on the menu if we had a choice. We visited again for lunch last week in a group of 6 (and only to use the remainder of our voucher) and it was again very disappointing. Very over priced, with disappointing portions. My husband and I both chose pork belly for $38. It was about 3" square in size with a small spoonful of some rhubarb jus. No sides as these were extra. We ordered semi freddo for dessert and it was so tiny for $16, that when it was brought out we thought it was a mistake as it just looked like a spoonful of sorbet. The waitress didn't know either as she had to check with the kitchen, and came back to confirm this pitiful dessert was in fact our $16 semifreddo. (FYI The tiramisu looked a much better size). Service was on the slow side. More than one of our group tried to find the lunch a la carte menu on their website but it seems to be missing or very hard to find. I wonder why?? When you book online it asks if it's a special occasion. Ours was an anniversary, but no fuss or congratulations was forthcoming. We won't be back.More

We have been going to this restaurant for years. We have had a pasta cooking class here as well. What a absolute disaster last night was. Gnocchi was disgusting, seafood pasta was awful. We have had several times here where things weren’t up to scratch...but this will be our last visit.More
