This was an exquisite dining experience. There was absolutely nothing to fault. The food was sensational, and in good proportion, the courses were beautifully spaced, and the wines were superb. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly, and the setting was spectacular. It was lovely...being there early evening with the ever changing vista as the sun slowly set. The wekas also provided fabulous entertainment! We hope to be able to come again when next visiting Aotearoa.More

We went on Sunday for the long lunch. It was simply superb, in a very Italian way. Nothing overly complicated or fussy, superb ingredients, well balanced and beautifully combined, and beautifully cooked and presented. The service was excellent - the whole idea is to take...it slow, but the staff were attentive and helpful. And the setting is to die for. A real highlight of our visit to beautiful Waiheke, and thoroughly recommended.More

We had the long Italian lunch from 1200-1530, consisting of serverl courses. The food was excellent and the service great. It was great to have an Italian meal again that wasn't all pasta or pizza. It cost us $100 New Zealand each, but considering what...you get, that wasn't expensive. Because each part of the meal was spread out, you never felt stuffed after any one part of it. Nevertheless, I didn't eat anything else the rest of the day.More

To Jame and Chef, We just wanted to say a huge thank you from Heidi and I for spoiling us on Saturday night ( 11th Nov) for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner we will never forget! It was to say the least "magnifico" the incredible...courses of food, your perfect choice of wine, your service, the ambience, the Bocelli music and the fact that you kept the restaurant open just for our booking after a 120-person long lunch made us feel like honored guests, like royalty who had paid for the privilege! it was just amazing- and if that wasn't enough thank you too for the fascinating tour of the cellars- We would recommend this place to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion, wedding, birthday or just a special night out. It was our second time and we will be back! Heidi and AnthonyMore

Such a beautiful location with well maintained gardens in a peaceful, romantic setting. The service was excellent (something hard to find these days), our various dietary needs were well accommodated for and our waiter was very kind, polite and well spoken. We loved the food....Each course was delicious and served at a good interval before the next. The sparkling rose was delicious but unfortunately not for sale. We will look forward to returning.More

The Long Lunch at Antonio Crisci's beautiful hideaway is something of a must-do institution for all discerning diners here on Waiheke... and its reputation is fully justified. Food-wise, Iit is like being transported to your favourite trattoria back in Italy itself. As the Italians would...say... It is the epitome of 'genuino'. Wonderful, fresh and natural ingredients cooked and treated with care, respect and imagination... where the favours sing and the tastebuds are thrilled. Perfectly accompanied by the sunshine of their delicious rose´ and in the company of good friends... Wonderful!More

Delightful location for a long lunch. But they tend towards the stingy side on the food front. We waited 90 mins for the steak dish and there was, what, a few slices each? Also it wouldn’t hurt to dish out some more focaccia and sides....$95 per head is pretty good but it seems like they’re cutting back what you get for that rather than just increasing the price and giving more. The location is hard to beat on a summer’s day and the food is good. We’ll be back, but we would pay more for more food.More

Great food, wonderful wine though a little pricey for a vineyard, but shocking service. Maitre D’ seemed like he was on drugs. Can’t think of any other reason for his arrogance and disdain. He wouldn’t last two nights in Italy. Message to management - get...a new front of house.More

Spent Sunday afternoon grazing our way through the sensational long lunch. The food was exceptional. Consistently high standard. If you were to quibble you might query whether the beef was the best cut, but the flavours and presentation of all dishes were fantatsic. And the...wine matches just added to the quality experience. The staff were top notch, attentive, informative, adaptable and up for some banter. Recommend this.More

Hi! I am unsure what the restaurant would charge, I'm sure it varies seasonally. Perhaps ask them? Regardless, well worth it. With taxis, they can be expensive as they have a monopoly on Waiheke. Pre-book from the ferry or... More
