The Pear Tree has regained its reputation for good food at reasonable prices for something a little more special. The pub has been beautifully refurbished and offers an interesting menu, not the bulk standard "pub grub". Well worth a visit, especially if you have not been since the change of ownership and reopening, approximately 2-3 years ago.

Saturday lunchtime, very quiet when we got there but very friendly welcome from a young man behind the bar. Apparently the menu changes every day but we decided to go for the fancy bar snacks rather than going into the restaurant. We chose the pearing board - very well presented on a long wooden board. Lots of pea shoots everywhere.... More

Hello Thank you for your very detailed account of one of our most popular starters, I am sure other Tripadvisor followers will find it very useful. I will pass your comments onto the Pantry Team about our homemade bread & skinny chips. I also like the Tamaya Pink Goat and the WTF (Wiltshire Tipsy Farmers) divides opinion especially because of... Four of us ate here last night to celebrate my mum's birthday. We had a great evening from start to finish, with attentive, friendly service, and delicious food. The restaurant area itself is light and spacious, and the courtyard garden was an unexpected treat. One minor complaint is that there are no prices on the beer menu, and we weren't... More

Went for lunch on Saturday. Lovely bright garden room. Food was a joy to eat. Beautifully cooked and presented. Staff very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Prices were reasonable for standard of food. Wine list extensive but a little over priced. Will definitely return, we enjoyed it very much.

We found The Pear Tree by accident looking for somewhere to eat with friends in the Lacock area. Have to say it's an amazing accidental find!! Lovely dinner, great veggie options, fantastic service and a really nice atmosphere. It was really busy being Friday night and the mains took a while to arrive but we're worth the wait. Highly recommend.... More

Myself and 7 friends had booked a table for Saturday evening restaurant When we arrived they seemed surprised and said the had no record on line .That's not surprising as one of our party had telephoned them two weeks beforehand to make the reservation . We went to the bar area and had a drink. We were then invited to... More

Stayed for 2 nights at the Pear Tree Inn over the bank holiday, along with wife and our dog. Everything was spot on! The food was absolutely delicious, from the breakfast to the dinners. Our room was very comfortable with incredible products and we had 2 nights of amazing sleep. The garden and surrounds were perfect allowing our dog to... More

Spontaneous drop in following great reviews from friends who live in Atworth who are only too delighted this lovely hostelry has been taken over from its previous owner!! Lovely atmosphere, good cross section of people, very relaxed and everyone so friendly. The menu looked very inviting, we had only popped in for a drink so we compromised and took advantage... More

Description
After being closed for over a year The Pear Tree Inn has been carefully restored as a farmhouse kitchen with bar & rooms. It has a relaxed & rustic appeal to the locally sourced menu & reclaimed quirky decor.

An old stone build farmhouse with rug strewn flagstones & reclaimed timber flooring. It features worn wooden tables with mismatched furniture and linen napkins. The Pear Tree Inn will showcase the best local suppliers with a menu guided by the seasons. It also offers overnight guests eight contemporary individually decorated rooms split between the Inn & a beautifully converted barn
