Second time I go there even though it's close to home.
Very bright, welcoming and familiar place, we were welcomed by Riccardo, a very kind and nice person.
We ate two first courses, both very good: the maltagliati with 5 cherry tomatoes, delicious despite being a simple dish (the success cannot be taken for granted), the pasta felt like it was homemade, the shape was irregular and it cooked well (cooked al dente , perfect), you could feel the flavor of the tomato perfectly and the chopped cherry tomatoes were also very tasty; the other, the gnocco with ragù and truffle, exceptional, a perfect and well-balanced mix of flavors (the smell of truffle was just right and wasn't even too heavy). Then we also ordered a cut (cooked rare) which we shared: perfectly cooked as we had asked, perhaps a little bland but this is perhaps subjective, however they brought us oil and coarse salt separately for seasoning so no problem.
A restaurant that I highly recommend to everyone for the quality and service offered, a mix between typical traditional cuisine and innovation in the reinterpretation of some dishes with a modern perspective.
The portions are right, the quality-price ratio is also excellent, quality that can be felt from the raw materials.
I will definitely return and hopefully as soon as possible.

Yesterday I returned from the Arcinazzo plateaus and I wanted to try again obviously booking 4 days in advance, and we finally managed to go and taste the delicacies of this place. There were four of us. After a long and tiring excursion in the Sembruini Mountains we arrived after 2.00 pm in this warm and hospitable inn where we were welcomed, with the fireplace lit, by a kind girl and a nice boy who provided a punctual service. Booked on Recommendation of Friends, this Osteria surprised and conquered us for the authenticity and goodness of the dishes, all at fair prices. The food feels that it is really fresh and prepared with healthy ingredients. Last but not least, the friendliness and kindness of all the staff who make you feel at home. We return every year to this small restaurant, and we are always very satisfied. Excellent appetizers, delicious and plentiful. The artichokes, accompanied with lime pecorino cream, are spectacular. Today we ate some fettuccine with porcini mushrooms with a delicious smell. I personally love the first courses and last time I had taken the gnocchi with gorgonzola really good.
