Whether a novice or a keen and competent home chef, you will enjoy this morning of cooking alongside others. Demonstrations and hands on cooking will enable you to prepare Mexican food, which was previously beyond you. No more supermarket tachos, no more shop bought Guacamole,- also free apron and little green bag along with recipe book, it's a must

This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Riviera Maya. The people are friendly, and Chef Cristobal's knowledge of Mexican food and culture is remarkable. This is a must-do!

We had been looking for a few specific Mexican spices but were unable to find them until we discovered the "store" here. There are also some handicraft items for sale.

The chef is great. I learned a ton about herbs and spices I have never used. It was fun as well as educational. They were very accommodating of my pescatarian preferences. Our group came away with some great memories. I highly recommend it. 😀

The chef seems to really enjoy his work. He's lively, full of history, PM info, shares all kinds of tips, and actually co-ordinated 16 women working together in one kitchen. We were a big group, but everyone got to do prep for our menu. The food we made was Delicious! We each took home a small recipe book and an... More

Spent a wonderful day with Chef Salvador who shared his love of his country and food with us. Our menu was based on food from the Yucatan peninsula. We made (and ate) salsas, papadzules (soft tacos with hard boiled eggs and covered with a green pumpkin sauce/mole), sopa de lima, white Mexican rice, Tikin Xiik (marinated fish), and caballeros pobres... I have been wanting to take a class here for years but as we were always in a resort it was hard to find a day to commit to the cooking class. This time we had 2 weeks and stayed right in PoMo so I booked a class well in advance and was so excited to attend!! This is not... More

I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this day. We came as a family with my wife and daughter. Chef Salvador is absolutely excellent. He is an excellent instructor and an excellent chef. The quality of instruction was exceptional as was the food. Best of all we had the opportunity to enjoy everything that we prepared together. From appetizers... More
