Lovely setting, great company and nice cold beer, although thought $25 for 3 drinks a bit rich! Staff were helpful and patient whilst we made our drink choices

In fairness, I only had a bar snack with drink, so rating only based on a very simple order. Snack seemed like a standard frozen seafood mix deep fried. Was hungry so ate it all. Nice friendly bar staff though.

Very yummy 😁 Good prices. Great view. Went a couple of times and would certainly go back. We had the Prawn cocktail with garlic bread and it was big enough we didnt need a main course 😁

Feeling very hungry after a long walk, the Penguin was a great choice for a lunch break, the choices for food were numerous and we decided on fish and chips which tasted delicious. The staff were very sociable and the food was served in quick time. Well worth a visit.

We called in here last month with some friends and were very impressed by the entire place. Interesting building, great food and extremely pleasant staff. Not expensive either - overall a really good place that I'm happy to recommend.

The bar may be average, but the staff are very friendly. Beer on tap selection has most of the local favorites plus a couple of specials. Menu is quite diverse, something for everyone. About average beach prices with reasonable presentation. Nice outside seating. But beware smokers are outside so be sure to be downwind.

hi, we have eaten here a few times over the years but the last experience put us off returning. Average food and the staff didn't seem to know what they were doing. When a kid at the neighbouring table asked for a doggy bag for his pizza one of the staff just dumped a box on the table and the... More

The Large Blue Penguin at the entrance is somewhat of a myth, as we have been hoping to see one for the last eight years we have been visiting the 'Bay'. The Penguin has a wide choice and is clean and friendly for a stop at any time pf the day.

Our two meals from the bar-style menu were acceptable, but not good enough to draw us back for a second meal.
