Also eat in the restaurant during an overnight stay at the hotel. There were no vegetarian options on the menu, but the chef was certainly able to provide something. And that alternative turned out to be very tasty. My son's burger and my husband's fish were also delicious.

We came two days in a row for lunch.
We had the dish of the day both times.

We arrived at 7, it took 1h20 for us to be served... 14 people were served before us (3 tables). The dishes arrived lukewarm. In addition, support was missing.
As a replacement it was very good... too bad.
But the worst thing I find is the quality of the service, lack of politeness, no indication on the appetizer, when we asked what it was...we were treated to "it's fish".... uh OK.
In short it's good but a complete service to be reviewed 😞

Mediocre restaurant, the veal filet mignon with chanterelles was served with 3 tiny pieces of cold meat. Little pieces of puree filled the void on the plate, not to mention the chanterelles (which I'm still looking for)...the black forest was nothing other than an industrial chocolate mousse garnished with sour cherries...and all bingo for a total of €43.50. We chose this restaurant because they took the gourmet pass, which had been validated by telephone 2 days earlier despite the fact that we were a table of 8 and only wanted to use it for 2. But you understand, it was a “hotelier” who gave us poor information over the phone and therefore it is not their fault. In addition, the waitress had the nerve to tell us that she had reached the quota of gourmet passes for the evening, this joke...all this during a birthday party and they were not able to make the slightest commercial gesture on their side. I strongly advise against anyone passing through Ostheim!

Slow service for us. We were the last customers waiting for dessert, while the waitresses chatted long behind the counter.

I knew this restaurant in my youth, I loved it with my parents.
Unsympathetic service, except for one Person, served with the spear Peter in Running.

Went for dinner - all meals were freshly prepared and very good. Quite a large selection and set menus. Also very good wines at affordable prices. Service was a little bit long, but we arrived at peak times and restaurant was full.

The waiter had us wait for quite a while until he finally approached us. Then it took another while until he gave us (couple) one set of menue card. He was shaking when serving drinks and food. He added the dessert to the bill even though I ordered a menue.

Not sure when we walked in; seemed like maybe the local Lions Club was having a meeting--and of course we were asked if we had reservations even though many tables were empty. However, the food was excellent and it was an excellent value. Just what we were looking for.

This is a pleasant enough place for a rest stop and our service was adequate. Because this town is famous for its population of storks, it is a tourist destination. The owners here would be well advised to show some warmth and appreciation for those who stop for a drink or meal.
This is not a place you want to go out of your way to visit, but, if viewing the town's centerpiece stork's nest, it is convenient.

This is a pleasant pace we had booked as a group of 8 it is quite a large restaurant so plenty of room, We had the fixed price lunch Menu with was under 15 Euros so vey good value for a lunch . The Quality was ok and the service was ok to but nothing special. Environment was pleasant, clean and smart.
House Pinot Blanc was actually not great at all we had tried lots in the past week as on a tour and all were to be fair better,
Overall, Was fair for a cheap lunch but no better than that.
