Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Went for breakfast as a family ! Not enough choice for a good breakfast such as bacon n eggs . We sat outside I was looking at all the cobwebs that had been there for months. I went inside to get a bottle of water...as it was 42 deg the water and the glasses were so warm I had to wait ages to ask for cold ones. The food was nothing special unless you like pastries. I would not recommend this place for breakfastMore

Visited yesterday for a brunch, lovely place, parking is a bit different seemed to be not many allocated spots more a big area to park and people aren’t the most amazing at thinking about others and how to get back out saw a few people...trying to negotiate to get in and out. The place itself is lovely green grass tall trees mostly shaded picnic tables outside. With some play area set up for the many many children there. The cakes and pastries looked divine, we ordered from the menu so didn’t try these unfortunately. Maybe next time. The croque madame had the potential to be amazing but the let down was it appeared to be pre made judging by the staleness of the bread which hugely let down this tasty plate. Otherwise had the ability to really wow the crowd. I’d rate the atmosphere 9/10 and the food 6/10 hope if we try it again we are met with a much better result in the croque as it could have been divine The crepe was nice but I think I’d choose another option if going back.More

Very disappointing! 40 degree day water glasses were hot, bacon and eggs for Breakfast but bacon was raw! Sat in outdoor undercover and was absolutely boiling and very dirty . The whole place needs a good clean and decorated.

I come by often by for the pastries and macaroons. I also order my cakes from French sweet here. The quality and taste is second to none. Not only was the coffee excellent, but the customer service was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and...went above and beyond to ensure I had a great visit. I highly recommend this place for both their delicious coffee and outstanding customer service. It's a gemMore

Pastries were very good so we decided to go for lunch. Boef bourgignon was so disappointing, a very thin watery bowl more like soup, it was actually served with a spoon. Tasted of tomato and I would think there was no wine in the dish.

Stopped here for lunch on our way driving around Swan Valley one weekend. My friend had been here before and wanted to buy some of their delicious macaroons so we also ate lunch. She had a vegetarian crèpe and I had tartiflette. It tasted quite...good although the cheese sauce was not that thick and it could have done with being cooked for longer so the top browned just a little - it was not browned at all and did appear as if it might just have been cheese sauce poured over potatoes and bacon. But it tasted OK. We ate in the garden which had well laid out tables and chairs, so very pleasant surroundings.More

Great coffee/pastries and orders out super quick , however $28 for a croque monsiuer made with sliced bread is a bit ridiculous.. was expecting some nice real fresh baked bread for something that price. would go back for coffee and sweets but the Lunch menu...isnt worth the price for what is on offer that we all got.More

The patisserie side of this business is excellent however the same cannot be said for our meals. Croque monsieur, essentially a posh toasted ham and cheese sandwich was made with very ordinary ham and commercial cheese with mayonnaise. The bread was hardly warm let alone...coloured and soggy. It was served with a mountain of nicely roasted potatoes and side salad. The smashed avo was plentiful but had chunks of raw red onion throughout, again. Not the most pleasant of dishes. I have been to the cafe in Floreat which seems to take much more pride in the food they serve.More

Decent breakfast with outdoor seating next to the children’s playground. Some Australian ibis visiting the area to pick up leftover foods, adding to the local touch. Very good macarons.

The food is amazing .. delicious coffee.. dog friendly.. What could be an amazing play area for kids is ruined by the large number of bull ants which bit us twice and unfortunately are located in at least 5 locations throughout play area and outside...tables. I would strongly recommend the owner spend a couple of hundred dollars to ensure patron and children safety and comfort!More

First time here after hearing great things. I will start by saying if you plan to visit over the weekend expect to spend some time waiting. This will be waiting a considerable time to order with very long lines to the counter. When we finally...arrived we were greeted with a hand written sign saying 40 min wait for food and 30 min wait for drinks. And this was correct. The area has a great farm like feel with chickens happily walking around the grounds interacting with people. There is plenty of seating hidden at different areas. This seemed to confuse the wait staff as they were always wondering around looking for tables. I feel this is a contributor to the wait times and could be easily fixed with some simple ordering tools/systems. However when the food arrived it was delicious. Amazing crepes and meringue pie. Not sure i will be rushing back.More

Called in to buy a gift for a friend's birthday and was told to join the food and drink queue which was snaking out the door and down the footpath. Sorry, not happening. I guess it must be good as it's always heaving but I...won't bother returning.More

I have been to this restaurant many times but this time the food exceeded my expectations. Large meal would satisfy every diner and the ambience is rustic French style. Dining is offered inside, outside under cover or in the garden with a childrens playground at...the front.More
