Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I visited Mrs Rabbits tea rooms today We were welcomed with the most beautiful assortment of sweet and savoury scones on "scone -oisseur" day We went for the blueberry scones with jam and cream. Yum! The scones were the best I've tasted, generous with the...blue berries! And yahava coffee in a mug was perfection Already planning a return trip for those waffles, a high tea and more scone flavours! Thanks TEAm ❤️More

Been here several times as we are locals. The scones here are always fresh. When you cut into them they are fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Flavour is just like nanas homemade scones and they are serviced with beautifully double whipped...cream. Coffee is great too. Absolutely recommendMore

A quaint cottage in Helena Valley which is decorated in the mood for the lovely high tea that we had. The food was amazing and well thought through with savouries served first and then the sweet delicacies. All homemade and each with a suprising aspect...which lifted the treat from the basic level. The scones were spot on with quality cream and homemade jam. The service was spot on and friendly and the table setting made use of delicate crockery. A place we will definately revisit.More

Dreadful scones now absolutely tasteless definitely no cheese in them and hardly any bacon in. The older woman that serves is not a nice person, she was also coughing constantly into her hand then touching were the food was prepared then back to the till,...not using hand sanitizer, we said something and were told she’s been tested, so what were a mask when your constantly coughing near food. She is also not a nice person to be served by, her attitude is awful. I have been going here for many years but no more foods gone down drastically.More

I’ve been to this quaint cafe many times and love the huge homemade scones. I took my husband for his first visit and was shocked at the quality and reduced size of the scones. Advertised as the best scones in the valley, I would question...that now. We were also charged twice for the same item, which we only received one of. Decor is looking a bit dishevelled and unloved.More

I had organised a high tea for my 60th for 12 people. Was taken to a small room, no atmosphere at all. Few shabby pictures on the wall. HUGE water mould stain on ceiling, can’t be healthy?? Tables were very boring. Food was very average,...first pot of tea weak and cold. Lady serving us was very nice, Irish I think? Was charged $18 for use of champagne glasses even though only 6 were drinking. Was just assumed the 9 adults there were drinking. Very happy to take my money (almost $500) but didn’t even get a grunt from the girl behind the counter when we left! Very disappointed, won’t be back again.More

Visited with family on a midweek morning, came especially to try the scones as we heard how nice they were. We were impressed. Would definitely recommend you stop by for a morning tea. Teas and coffees could be a bit hotter, maybe my taste buds...like a hot coffee, not a lukewarm one. But the staff, and service you felt welcome . A must try!!More

Lovely spot for a coffee and cake stop in the Swan Valley. Excellent coffee and wonderful staff. Even with the traffic on West Swan Rd it has a relaxed atmosphere with birds chirping in the garden area.

We booked in for the high tea, knowing that Cottage Tea Rooms advertise having "the best scones in the Valley". As these were the only scones I've had in the Valley it is hard to disagree. The scones were indeed delicious. As was the whole...selection of sweet and savoury goods. Coffee or tea is provided. And the service is very good. How much better would these scones be with actual clotted cream? I can only guess.More
