Excellent fare. But it is to be expected from a 5 star hotel. The chef came out and described in detail what he has that was fresh apart from the items on the menu. The fish had been caught that morning by a local fisherman and the herbs had been collected by the chef himself from the fields surrounding the... More

We were staying in the Ta Cenc Hotel in which the restaurant resides . There was nothing to fault with the 5 times we ate there . The service was efficient . The €30 set menu for 3 courses offer in the evening was worth it . The wines at €13+ were palatable . The setting is atmospheric . The... More

We tried the 30 euro set menu and came away disappointed. It was only okay, like canteen food with delusions of grandeur. The 'amuse bouche' didn't - it was a sort of dry, fried ravioli - rabbit stew was chewy and creme brulee was an abomination. The only saving grace was the friendly service from the waiters. Seriously, if you... More

I stayed at the Ta Cenc resort for 5 nights and had dinner at the Il Carrubo restaurant every night. It is not the best food I have ever had but I do recommend it as the service and the price/quality ratio is very good and the food remains much better than in all the touristy restaurants in the villages... A really lovely place to eat and one which makes me happy to just think about. Second week here reminded me how good it is. Great food and service. Beautiful setting.

Had a fantastic dinner here during our stay on the Island of Gozo for our wedding. There was 14 of us and we were all looked after so well. We had the 4 course dinner package which was €30 per person. The food was amazing with all you can eat salad bar and dessert buffet and the choices for starters... More

Ate at the terrace restaurant at the Ta Cenc Hotel and it is really an experience second to none !! Besides being so relaxing, the food is definitly some of the best on these islands. Definitly not to be missed.!!

During last week I managed to eat on 3 different evenigs in this hotel resturant and I have to say that I was amused with the the various menus which were on offer. The food was fantastic and well prepared and the service was fantastic. The musicians added a great atmosphere and an enjoyble evenings. I am sure that I... More

We have eaten in the main restaurant at the Ta Cenc on many occasions, the most recent being for dinner on Christmas Day. In the summer one sits outside in the shade of the wonderful extremely old tree that spreads its branches over the dining tables and in winter months, food is served in the indoor dining room overlooking this...
