First of all let me start by saying it was pouring rain and when u get to the restaurant they have an old bike blocking the main entrance and force you to go to another parking lot that you have to pass the smelly barn..not...appetizing at all...next you have to walk up a path that today my husband that was carrying a baby fell in a very large hole and they both fell down..my husband hurt his knee and the baby went flying out of his arms luckily onto the grass..thankfully the baby was ok and unhurt however my husbands knees were both hurt and bleeding...upon entry to the restaurant we asked to speak to the owner and a young man came out seemed very concerned and apologized but no sign of the owner...as we were ready to order she came to the table to take our order and did not even ask how the baby and my husband were...VERY arrogant !!!!!! Absolutely no concern at all for the baby or my husband...fix your restaurant so it is safe for people to go there...it is safe to say you will never see us again...More

We have just had a great lunch at O Cabeco, Alcobaca. Even though the restaurant was full, I think we managed to get the last table, the food was very good, different from a lot of places, and the service, excellent. For mains my husband...had the Choco (cuttlefish) which was beautifully cooked and I has Robalo (sea bass) with prawns, which came with a very tasty sea food sauce. Desserts of Alcobaca apple creme brûlée and a strawberry pavlova! The staff were very friendly and all Covid-19 precautions were in action. Not a problem either if you happen to be a non Portuguese speaker.More

Food was delicious and it was very reasonably priced. The service isn’t the fastest but the food more than made up for it
