Booked for Sunday lunch. Three of the party had the la a carte menu and I went for the menu Truffe. The interior of the restaurants was delightful with large panoramic window in one room with great views. The food was first class and the service impeccable. Go..

I did not stayed in the Auberge for the night or dinner but only bought there own smoked salmon which was of excellent quality and this for an outstanding price 50€/kg. You can ask to get it vacuum packed if you travel.

This is a little gem ! If you are nearby, do stop for lunch or dinner or an entire afternoon ( they have a swimming pool and huge garden). We took the fixed menu for lunch and for about 22 euros per person it was an excellent value. We really enjoyed every bit of the menu. You can have wine... More

the staff are very welcoming, the food is imaginative and absolutely delicious and the prices are extremely reasonable, with all starters the same price, main coursese the same and desserts too (although the proflteroles had a supplement, but were worth it!!!). With two vegetarian daughters they staff are always happy to offer something vegetarian (although there is no veggie option... More

Driving past Auberge Gardoise we decided to make dinner reservations as it looked interesting..... On a busy roundabout but with a full car park we thought it must be good! And yes it was! Very professional staff, dressed in traditional black & whites but young & casual & most importantly engaging & fun. Bravo for selecting such excellent staff! We... More

A bit concerned the reputation for excellent food will become general knowledge and book up the Auberge Gardoise. I stayed for a couple of nights many years ago when we bought our Mas in a local Village and have been a regular visitor for 15 years. My wife and friend have enjoyed a lunch at Gardoise every couple of weeks... More

I have frequented the Auberge and its predecessor since the early 1990s on 2/3 times each year.Having booked for 7 people indicating that two people where gluten intolerant we looked forward to a happy family meal. Having been assured that the course chosen was gluten free my wife found small pieces of bread in the food. This is not some food... More

Hello Sir, We are really sorry for the inconvenient of this mistake with the little pieces of bread "croutons" in the starter and for the main of your granchild and we repeat our apologizes for that. But ... Waouuuh !!! One only and poor star ? What about the rest of the meal, the service, the place ... ?? No... More

We are regular visitors at the restaurant and are never disappointed. The menu is seasonal and therefore always has something new.

This place seems to have a good reputation which is why it was sad to come away feeling as if we'd wasted rather a lot of money. The food was only just ok, although the desserts (which we didn't have) looked excellent. A moderately priced bottle of a local wine was definitely corked and smelled appalling, and was undrinkable. The... More

Called in after visiting Lussan. The town was closed, it was a Monday, so we had seen the Auberge on the way up. We were so glad we had. From the special set menu that we chose we had some delightful food with a glass of wine included. The greeting we had was good and the service went well until... More
