Our 4th visit and still the ambience is superb. After discovering this Vineyard by accident and then enjoying a meal here every year since, I can confidently say the quality have surprised and delighted me every time. The wine is the regions finest and the food is a quality match, supported by dedicated service personel and a dramatic dining enviroment.... More

First let me say, I have eaten at many wonderful restaurants and I am very fussy! Today, I had the absolute pleasure of eating lunch at Chateau de Haute-Serre. The chef here is excellent, he has a light touch which lets each ingredient sing. The fish soup with saffron is delicate but deep, my fish main was cooked to perfection,... More

Last week we stayed in a lovely B+B near Cahors, and our host recommended Haute-Serre which we'd read about online, and he passed us a brochure with the restaurant address. But it was IMPOSSIBLE to find, between our rental car's creaking GPS and the brochure's cryptic address (see photo): there is no street address, and the village Cieurac is exactly... More

A little difficult to find, but was a delicious treat when you do. We came for lunch and it was just the best. You drive up to the chateau and there is a separate building fot the bottling and the restaurant. Before you go into this building, you look around and you are surrounded by acres and acres of vinyards... More

The restaurant 'La Table de Haute Serre' is a part of the Chateau complex. The restaurant itself is very stylishly furnished in a modern fashion yet is very comfortable. We were a party of six and were taken here by friends who live locally for 6 months of the year- so they know their local food and wine. They have... More

The information outside tells you only the menu prices, not what you will be offered to eat. When the menu is presented at the table, all is revealed. But, note that 'all' is not a big choice. It does not really matter, though. You could close your eyes and point to dishes on the menu and you would still have... More

This was our second visit to Château de Haute-Serre and once again we were not disappointed. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. My husband had a special treat by being offered a glass of a very special vintage of the estate's wine. He was absolutely thrilled. We thoroughly recommend Château de Haute-Serre.

We were recommended to visit & decided to take advantage of the vineyard tour as well as lunch. The tour was interesting & fun - made easy by our English speaking guide. Wine tasting afterwards was good as the wines were really nice (bought 3 bottles!). Lunch was fabulous - after being in France for a month I thought I... More

Well, having been last year, you just get a sense that quality is a part of the fabric here. So it was never an issue, to travel an hour and a half by car, for one of the finest dining experiences of the year. Finest is defined by welcoming service, superb setting, stunningly fresh and interesting menu, and wine, that... More

The restaurant, La Table de Chateau Haute-Serre is set in the stone cellar of the vineyard. The menus are rather limited and the wine list only offers wines from Haute Serre, except the champagne. A pleasant atmosphere with contemporary furniture and decor mixed with traditional stone walls. The chef Thierry Pszonka is a Maître Cuisinier de France and prepares delightful... More

La Table de Haute-Serre is an original gastronomic concept -bistronomie- in a wine cellar near to Cahors. The bistro side is reflected in the warm, friendly atmosphere in a sitting reminiscent of a modern, chic sort of loft. The gourmet side is, of course, reflected in the menu with local products market by our chef, Adrien Manac'h. The wine side is an exceptional selection from Bertrand Gabriel Vigouroux, creator of fine Malbec wines from Cahors.
