Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place is really nice, with the birds, and all the bush surrounding it, however, it is extremely expensive. We were only able to get a hot chocolate, because everything was way to pricey.

That's a shame you thought that. Our prices on our chocolates range from $1.50 up to $30 which are our variety packs.

Such a magic little chocolate shop set in the mountains. Its gorgeous here. The gardens are full of flowers, theres cute little bantam chooks and ducks, amazing views of the granite mountains and then theres the chocolate. Local chocolatier makes the chocolate and it tastes...superb! We come regularly to sample all the delights. Theres so many to choose from and each one looks too good to eat.More

Dropped in after Girraween National Park walk. Lovely coffee and the hot chocolate (caramel and hazelnut sampled) was foamy and thick. Didn’t even get to buying chocolates but the garden was lovely to browse as well.

A lovely country setting with a surprise with so much to choose from. Better than other chocolate factories we have visited. The presentation in the display cabinets is very nice. The chocolate place also has cottages to stay in with fire places.

Stopped here for morning tea - coffee and chocolate. Pet friendly outside in the garden - this informed our choice of venue as we are travelling with our dog. Lovely friendly owners. Pretty flowers and birds. We enjoyed it and would visit again.

Very average chocolate flavours and fillings. Clinkers that taste like they came out of a Cadbury packet. Peanut brittle filling was good - but it's hard to get that wrong. Paid $33 for a sample bag to take home for family, and another $14 for...what looked like gourmet flavours. Sadly also very bland in flavour and texture. Overpriced and overhyped. Will not visit here again. Did not try the hot chocolate so can't comment.More

While visiting the Girraween national park, we stopped here for morning tea. We are glad we did! They had a huge range of chocolate, and we had a hard time picking some favourites - it all looked amazing! There is a coffee shop attached, where...you can have the best hot chocolate in the area, and also eat some of the chocolates purchased in the shop. My kids loved it here, and I'll visit again when next in the area.More

We come here every time we stay in Stanthorpe purely for the delish hot chocolate. A variety of flavours and made euro style. Tables by the chickens and birds which the kids love and also takeaway. Definitely a regular stop for us.

We had a very nice large hot chocolate sitting outside watching the chickens! Of course we had to buy some different chocolates to take home and they are very nice especially the chocolate gingers and the chocolate macadamias.
