What an incredible place - and a truly special experience. We went there for dinner one night as it was recommended to us as being the best in town. Not only is the food the best, but the whole experience. Down to earth super chef...and owner Narayan spent time with us at our table, chatting and suggestion the best dishes which did not disappoint. The crispy spinach starter is delicious, as is everything else. We loved it so much we ended up going back the next day for a curry cooking workshop, and ended up getting much more than just knowledge on Indian cuisine and culture: Narayan spoke so beautifully about life and all its lessons too. Would go back in a heartbeat, cannot recommend United Kitchens of India enough. It’s also a wonderful venue for events. Would give it 6 stars if I could, we really loved every second. Thank you Narayan and co.More

Best Indian food, in the world.

Best Indian food, in the world. The authentic family run restaurant serves the most delicious dishes with an incredible variety of favours. Chef Narayan can cater to all dietary requirements and tailor every dish bespoke. My favourite is the Goan pork vindaloo which he makes...with a coconut vinegar served with special coconut rice. The tandoori fish is also great. His cooking course was an amazing experience and now I can replicate some of his signature recipes easily. Breakfast there is also a treat if you like masala dosa. Will be going back for a long time.More

Alternative and personalised Indian Food

Introuced to this place by friends of ours. Narayan is always a perfect host. You can order from the menu but if you like let Narayan suggest things based on your tastes and palate. Its on the outskirts of Vilamoura but well worth seeking out....Just check out its overall rating. Some very intresting starters.More

Indian delight!

It was an honor to meet the chef and hear his culinary experiences! He asked us what we liked and proceeded to prepare a bespoke Indian dish for every member at the table, he mentioned the aim was to have a menu free restaurant. This...is by far the best traditional Indian food I have had! The surroundings are intimate and suitable for couples and families! This restaurant is truly a gem!More

Indian cuisine heaven on earth?

If Chef Narayan cooked in the kitchen for all the gods and godesses of India they would surely make him immortal! Come here and experience divine indian cooking and be treated heavenly!

The best Indian food I’ve ever tasted

This restaurant really is a gem. It offers a fantastic personal service from a world renowned chef, I’ve visited a number of times & he always surprises me with something different to meet my taste. Fantastic Indian food

Fantastic Indian food, as good or better than I have had anywhere in the world. Crackling spinach to start is a must followed by any of the curries (chicken with fenugreek is my absolute favourite) with crispy naan bread. We are so lucky to have...this restaurant with its top chef in Vilamoura. I've also had a delicious breakfast here too.More

Delicious and different Indian cuisine with friendly service

Like many on these reviews we let the owner choose our food and it was really delicious. My wife is vegan and they had many options for her. For starters we had the crispy spinach and some kind of triple cooked spicy potatoes. For the...main meal we had a delicious aubergine curry, some kind of tasty creamed based chicken curry, and jackfruit curry. Give it a try!More
