lovely hidden gem of a restaurant, food was good and staff very friendly (not overly as some places you go) they didn't bother you every 5 minutes to see if your food was ok. reasonable prices was nice and the choice of food. would I go there again? yes. shame I wasn't in the area for longer.

Great food choice on the menu and also on their specials board. Steak Portuguese style and Monkfish Kebab are a must.

Yet another great meal in A Abroa. Maria served us, 1st class friendly and efficient. Starter was Chorizo sausage BBQ'd, simple but lovely. The chateaubrian in A Broa is probably the best cut beef you will get anywhere, bar none, and is absolutely excellent. A lovely bottle of rose to wash it down. Dessert & coffee - and all for... We dined here twice during our week stay. The fillet steak that you cook yourself on a hot stone was so tender and flavoursome. The vegetables were cooked to perfection. The extras you are offered before your starters only cost a couple of euros each and consist of sardine pate, warm bread, cheese, garlic carrots, flaming sausage all extremely tasty.... More

Eaten here in the passed and can't really find any fault with the place , good food and good service, well presented , I really enjoy the sea bass and the monk fish done in a sauce or in a kebab, friends like the steak on hot stones. This is good value for money for both food and wine and... More

We visit Portugal as a group of 12 every January. Ate here last year, and enjoyed it. Ate here twice this year and liked it even more. I had Suckling Pig the first time I visited, which was really good. However, the Chateaubriand for 2 to share which I had on our next visit was incredible. One of the best... More

Visited this restaurant twice in a week with 11 other friends on a golfing trip. The food was the best we had by miles and the service although a bit slow at times was great. Lovely little touches with the free sausage and sorbet. We got some good deals regarding free wine and beer but even if we hadn't received... More
