We were recommended this little place by a local guide & did not know what to expect as it was ‘free’. As advised we arrived early for the 2115 performance. This tiny bar has a great ambience, we tried the cheap sherry on offer but...More

The place it’s very small but with a huge quality of entertainment. I loved the performance, and not to mention the great tapas. I highly recommend it!

I don’t love flamenco, but if you are looking for a uniquely Jerez/Spanish experience I would totally recommend this bar. On the night we went they had a verano performance of a flamenco dancer, male singer and guitarist onstage. It was passionate, raw and spine...More

I'm in Seville as I write this. Our airbnb host...a born and bred Jerez local.. recommended here and we stumbled across this tiny place by accident on our first day. It was so great we returned the next day before the 2pm show to get...More

I spend a lot of time in Andalusia but still know little about Flamenco. However, whenever I go to this beautifully cramped Flamenco bar, which serves ‘wine’ out of barrels and simple but delectable tapas on slates, it I feels like being transported back to...More

This bar is a must visit, to get a feel of a local hangout place. Its huge charm is that it is an old style bar, the interior is quite fascinating, it is bustling with people, both tourists and locals. The tapas and the 'fino' are very reasonably priced and through  the day at intervals there are excellent flamenco tablaos. Tablaos are intimate flamenco shows, in a small area and aren't the formal fancy kinds, so be open minded, because authentic flamenco is performed in tablaos more often than in fancy setups.

We have seen other Flamenco shows in Sevilla, Córdoba and Cadiz but that one was literally the worst I've ever seen. The hole place jams up with tourists at 10pm to see the show. The dancer, weighing over 100kg, performed in a way, which was...More

El Pasaje was advised to us by hotel receptionist Francis (Tryp Jerez) as a place where locals like to go and meet. Nothing fancy or chique but a real and spontaneous entertainment where sherry wines, basic tapas and flamenco are central. Very small place. We...More

A must see if you visit Jerez. This is an oldie worldy Spanish bar that you can imagine has been around forever. There are Flamenco performances at notified hours, the one we went to was supposed to start at 9 p.m., but this is Spain,...More

Some tables had been reserved near the stage. You can go early and just stand at the back near the bar. Does get very crowded and the venue is small.

Normally El Pasaje´s Flamenco show is not everyday - usually Thursday, Friday, Sat Sun. Though there is a good chance that during the Flamenco Festival they will offer more days / times. There is information on the doors... More
