Don't spend ages looking for Carpe Diem as we did because it doesn't exist, having become Il Pepperoncino. It's a pleasant trattoria in Via Bellini, away from the sea front, and is still good. They have a great range of dishes, especially tasty pasta and pizza, and there were plenty of locals there, always a good sign. The staff were... More

Go for the Etna Rosso (I've had wine 3 x expensive without the taste), the waiter is superb, and the food is cheap and fantastic. A real sicilian chowdown, tip the guy well (he'll treat you with some Limoncello)! Great memories were made here

Great food and service. Best food out of three that we had and we went to the top three on the list. No sea view but well worth it as cosy and not next to the traffic. Round the corner from the main square.

No sea view, but the inside is charming. Service was friendly and efficient, with a couple of nice extras. Reasonably priced

We found this place when we were walking through the streets of Letojanni and saw that the reviews were good. This is a family owned business and the service was wonderful. The food was simple and very good with fresh local ingredients and the red table wine was delicious. Check it out.

`Carpe Diem´ is a rustic little trattoria tucked away on a tiny street which my husband and I found by accident. The food is simple, fresh (without any `bells and whistles´ but is to die for! During our 10 day stay in the area, we tried almost everything on the menu. Whether it be seafood (totally fresh from the sea),... More

we had dinner here twice. On the first night it was great. The food is very good and the service we received was attentive. The prices very affordable - 30 euros for 2 people with drinks. We got lemoncello at the end of our meal. They seemed very busy and lacked staff but the overall experience was not affected by... More

One of few places that have classic sicilian pizza. All made in traditional way, with local products (anchovies, aubergines, etc), baked in a traditional wood burning stove. Like food staff is pleasant. However, that the restaurant is closed for lunch time restricting us to eat more often in it.

Simple menu, all the Italian classics, but very well cooked. Best Carbonera ever. Good pizzas, good wines, very pleasant staff.
