The Wheelwrights closed a month ago for a re-furbishment programme and they re-opened to the general public last night.........We were most impressed with what they have done, new seats, extended restaurant, new bar and coffee dispensing area, all with a lovely smell of new paint and varnish. The tables are all solid on the ground, no need for bent beer... More

We heard that the Wheelwrights Arms were having a re-fit so when the chance came to pay them a visit we jumped at the opportunity. Clearly the news of the re-furb had spread and it was very busy but we were quickly shown to a table. Despite the fact they they were very busy the service offered by the staff... More

We popped in here on Saturday lunch time and ordered 2 burgers and a wine and beer. We used to live near here and at some point during the last year I had had the burger and it was amazing so was looking forward to the same. On this occasion though the visit really ruined my day as we were... More

Visited on Tuesday evening in early October. The pub was surprisingly busy. Staff were very plrasant and helpful throughout our visit. Had booked ahead as there were six of us, of which two are gluten intolerant. Table was ready and waiting as were two gluten free menus. Choice was excellent and the service prompt. The food was very good and... More

Great little pub for a quiet drink inside or outside following a lovely stroll over the road at Dinton pastures. This hidden gem is a new favourite, can't wait to eat here.

We arrived when the pub opened as it is shut all afternoon. This was a Monday. Although tables were laid up and we had tried to book we were not allowed a table in the restaurant. This wasn't occupied even when we left, so all rather odd. The food was only average, chips seemed like they had been cooked twice... More
