Clean tidy and friendly. Great lunch and lovely old china cups and saucers. All the food is home made and there is lots to look at as it is in a very early rescued Co op building. Would go again.

I went on an organised trip with the North Staffs branch of the National Trust. There were about 50 of us and we were supposed to have tea and cakes on arrival, but due to a management misunderstanding they weren't expecting us! As you could imagine, 50 thirsty and hungry people all waiting to be served, especially when they were... More

Fresh tasty sandwiches with delightful relish very nice cakes in a oldie world surrounding. It is inside a museum so you have to pay to get in.

This is a lovely place. The tea is hot and refreshing and the scones are moist and full of fruit. Well Werth a visit as you walk around Avoncroft Museum

Housed in one of the museum buildings at Avoncroft, this tea room captures the atmosphere of days gone by, with mis-matched chairs, tables and crockery - but it works! There is a daily soup option, choice of sandwiches and hot food in the form of bacon or sausage baguettes in addition to tea and filter coffee. The staff are helpful... More

Just visited the Edwardian tea rooms today for a short business lunch. The place was very busy and we needed to take advantage of one of the tables with high stools. The selection of light lunch options were limited but my colleague and I enjoyed a good quality sandwich each. I ordered a tea and it was nice to receive... More

The environment is charming - it was an old pub or tearoom moved to Avoncroft from elsewhere(the waitress was anxious to tell us about it but a bit unsure of its history). It is furnished and decorated in Edwardian style 0 a mixture of old fashioned tables and chairs and lovely sprigged wallpaper etc. The menu is not extensive but... More

An interesting afternoon was spent exploring the buildings of the open air museum. We were particularily interested in the Tea Rooms as the building had been removed in the 60s from my hometown of Shrewsbury. I can remember the building which was situated where Frankwell Roundabout is now. The Tea Rooms were lovely, the restoration was excellent. Although they were... More

Treated out to tea by my family - lovely attention to detail, and could not fault the tea either, it was gorgeous. Knitted teacosies on display everywhere. Very relaxed atmosphere.
