Having taken the office out for a meal for the second year running i felt it was time to tell everyone how great the meal was, and how well we were looked after by Neil, Sue and ALL the staff who had their work cut out with the amount of people there, it was really really good service and the... We enjoyed a superb meal. My Ribeye steak was one of the best I've ever had and I've had a few! We look forward to our next visit.

We eat there regularly, last night the shin beef, with risotto with pearl barley was a wonderful dish. The menu changes and previously and this was another interesting option, previously we had to produce our version of the Mackerel rarebit.

Excellent Marston's beer battered cod, chips and mushy pies washed down with a superb pint of Hobgoblin. Friendly and attentive staff in an unspoilt 14 th century building. Lived up to expectations and can thoroughly recommend.

Passing by and decided to stop off for Sunday lunch and so pleased we did. On arriving, we were greeted by two young waiters who were very welcoming and took us to the bar area where an equally pleasant young lady seated us. We ate in the bar and the whole pub had a friendly atmosphere. I had the roast... More

We had dinner here two nights running whilst we were staying at a nearby B & B. The food did not disappoint although it would have been good to have had a 'specials' board. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere good. All in all it ticked all the boxes for a good village pub.

There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed immensely the meal. So good in fact that we went back on Sunday for Sunday Lunch. Again excellent... More

We had lunch at the Hatton Arms one Friday last month. (July) The chef, was the most surly and ignorant man I have ever met in an eating establishment anywhere in the world. He needs to change his occupation or remain in the kitchen. The landlady was pleasant, but not really "mine host". The food was good value for money,... More
