We had Christmas Lunch for the first time at Albert River Wines in December 2023. The food was first class - everything from their vast array of seafood to the traditional roasts, various baked vegetables, ham, turkey and the delicious sweets. The staff were lovely, very attentive to all the diners, making sure we had water & drinks and replacing our bowls of discarded seafood shells regularly. Beautiful setting and a lovely historic building. Chairs were a little noisy on the verandah. All in all, I would highly recommend Albert River Wines for the Christmas buffet!!

Lovely food when it eventually arrived. It seemed that 2 orders for the same food had been misplaced even though pre orders were done before arriving. To the older "waitress" who got snappy very quickly (obviously overwhelmed with the job of providing excellent customer service at all times, I hope you are able to find a job more befitting your rudeness. Otherwise, staff very nice.

Just been to this fantastic restaurant set in amongst the vineyards. Period building has charm & atmosphere. We ordered 3 eye fillet steaks which can only be described as mouth-watering delicious combined with duck fat roasted potatoes & seasonal vegetables. The chef-created sauce is what made the plate. We opted to share desserts and I can thoroughly recommend the chilli chocolate brûlée. 10/10 for a lovely way to spend a lunch at Tamborine Mountain

The setting is very impressive but the meal and disjointed service was very disappointing. We received our main meals at different times and then ordered sweets and coffee but we had finished our coffee before our dessert arrived. The staff were friendly - the food was very average.

Albert wines is a picturesque property and a delight to visit. The staff were simply amazing the best service I have had in a long time. They went out of their way to accomodate our every request. The wines were very pleasant and really a pleasure to drink. We tested 3 of the still white wines enjoying each. When leaving the maître and our waitress went out of their way to juggle our order so that the pricing was the most reasonable. The only let down was the food. Very average. However do not let that deter you a visit to this wonderful property is a must.

This restaurant is in lovely surroundings , but we were very unhappy with our lunch. Turkish bread with olive oil was dry had to ask for more oil. And the Beer battered fish was very very over cooked and same with the chips. We did mention it to staff and really they couldn’t care less, said they would pass it on. Our local fish and chip shop has better and at half the price. Music was too loud also.

Best thing about this place is the location.
Everything else is downhill.
We had the Chicken and the Calamari for lunch, however they were terrible and we couldn't eat them. Ordered 2 kids meals for our children, they also refused to eat their meals. Kids meals were served with sweet potato chips and not normally chips as specified on the menu. Kids meals were cheap and nasty. Drink service was poor, especially for a Winery.
Driveway into venue was unkept, huge pot holes and no way to get around them, could do serious damage to your car. We will not be back.

We were there to celebrate a 70th birthday lunch.
Elise was amasing very friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Unfortunately the Chef did not seem to understand the importance of dietary requirement, two of our guests asked for Gluten free/Dairy free and they were served food with butter in it and unfortunately they became very unwell and had to leave.
Also we were looking forward to the Chili ice cream which has been removed from the menu.

My Son, d-i-l- and I went for Sunday lunch, the surroundings are lovely from the veranda, We had Turkish bread and dip to start. A man can one with a guitar and while the singing was not bad, it was to loud for proper conversation. I had pork chop which was nicely cooked, Daughter in law had belly pork and Son had steak. They said they were well cooked. I thought my lemon tart really sweet, more like lemon cheese from a jar. the other two desserts were a chocolate concoction. We just had house wine and a beer. Service not to bad but there again, the place was not busy.

Our family of 5 had lunch here and we were all overwhelmed by the beautiful gardens, the views and lovely restaurant with wide open verandahs. The food was fantastic, well priced ( 2 courses for $39) and the service just wonderful. ( both the waitress and chef were friendly, polite and very cooperative) It was such a pleasant little surprise to visit here and we’ll definitely return when next in the area. Thank you for a lovely day.

We have just enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch. We were staying at the Gold Coast and looking for a change of scene.This was ideal. A picturesque setting with friendly efficient staff. We enjoyed our meals on the verandah and came away with a couple of bottles of wine as the wine was good as well. Well worth the drive.

just wanted to leave some positive feedback the girls and I came.for lunch Yesterday the food was delishes the service was amazing, the music made it a very nice vibe. Karren was always checking up making sure we had drinks and if we needed anything, thank you Karen for making our sunday out so delightful

Had a wine tasting (mmm Jacaranda white and Tawny were delicious) + a great lunch on the balcony enjoying live music.
Such a beautiful spot. I told my husband we should renew our vows here, because, any excuse to come back. Staff were excellent!

What a lovely location! Our meals were served by friendly attentive staff. Even though a large group booking were present the service didn’t lag. Enjoyed their wines. Enjoyed our lunch. Recommend the chocolate chilli brûlée & the chicken liver pate!

Had a wonderful lunch here recently with hubby and friends. I had the dukka crusted lamb back strap which was absolutely delicious. The best meal I have had in a long time! This was followed by the chilli chocolate creme brulee. Another winner!
Wonderful setting and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it. 😊
