Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Casual indoor or outdoor seating with fabulous food. We enjoyed Pork Belly with chats & greens and Prawn/bacon Fettucine in tomato chilli sauce. Most enjoyable menu in country setting with local wines and boutique beers made on-site. Friendly staff and beer tastings available.

We arrived just before lunch, without a booking. Glad we did as, by the time we left, the rooms and outside were full. It was a Sunday and a nice day, so that probably had something to do with it. As for the food, we...had a really nice lunch. I had a steak sandwich and my husband had the beer fed beef. Both came with the chips that have been written about. We agree that the chips were good. The sandwich and beer fed beef schnitzel were equally as good. The service was friendly and the food arrived quickly and hot. My husband had the Irish red beer and enjoyed that. I had the Darraweit apple/pear cider. That was a great hit. I’d thoroughly recommend eating here, but maybe reserve a table, especially if you wish to eat outside.More

We have always found the Forrest Brewery to be friendly with great food and beer. We manage three Airbnb type accomodation places in the area. Our guests consistently feedback very positive experiences. We love the rustic and authentic decor and how hard this business works...to be a bench mark for the region.More

Were hoping to have breakfast but the waiter looked down his nose at us and demanded to see our ID . Which I understand during Covid but don’t presume we are not from nearby . Went to General Store across road and had delicious breakfast....More

Was so happy to see that the brewery had vegetarian and vegan food options. Delish mushroom burger and mushroom bao buns. Also had some great beer - loved the sour!

I don’t do a lot of reviews for restaurants etc but the food here was SO good I felt I had to give them props. I had the potato and leak soup yesterday and it was the best soup I think I’ve ever had. I...had the gf bread with it which was also very tasty. My friends had the chowder, and brisket burger, and everybody loved their food. I will definitely be back!More

We stopped in after a local hike for lunch and beers. The staff were very friendly and gave enthusiastic advice on how to spend the rest of the afternoon. We ordered burgers (a beef and a chicken) and they were excellent with large sizes. Chips...were perfect. I had a stout which was great as well. Highly recommend.More

A perfect place for great local beers and excellent food. Service was speedy and friendly even though it was busy. The Boa Buns with pork belly were sensational; as was the generous serving of a salmon based pasta from the specials menu. I'd certainly be...classified a 'foodie' by friends and don't give undeserved praise. A strong recommend from me!More

Came to the Forrest Brewing Company by chance after seeing the redwoods in the Ottawa’s. This is a little gem that serves good coffee, great beer (the stout was amazing) and surprisingly has a great offering of vegan foods alongside a great regular menu. We...shared the shiitake bao as a snack- lovely. Cute outside eating area and nice staff.More

The Forrest brewery is a well established set up offering great food, local wines and really good beers. The beers are all brewed on site, you can see the brew room through the window at the rear of the restaurant. There's ample seating inside and...out. The facilities are clean. There's plenty of mountain bike trails in the area and the brewery makes for a great place to finish a ride at.More
