We attended here last weekend. We were treated with a warm welcome and most importantly a smile! The atmosphere was warm - partly due to the fires being lit, and as there was space we promptly sat on a table closest to the fire set...More

Upon arrival the vibe wasn’t great as the decor is faded and the outside looks shabby. However, the couple running the pub couldn’t have been nicer. Very welcoming and lovely cosy fires to keep out the winter chills. Lots of food options to choose from,...More

First night in the pretty village of Birchover. Great and friendly local that caters well for those having an autumnal retreat in the area. Joe the barman was very attentive and welcoming, offering service with a smile. Even our Border Collie was looked after with...More

We rented a cottage in Birchover for an autumn break. We found The Druid on our first night. Very friendly welcoming pub....to both dogs and people! I was able to enjoy fish and chips... gluten and dairy free!! Would recommend this excellent pub to others.

Visited for drinks with friends and hoped to eat here. To say the reception was cold would be an understatement. Asked for a drink and the three people behind the bar completely ignored us. Definitely gone town hill since our last visit. Needs some Tlc...More
