Please everyone, start coming back to the Erica pub post Covid. We were excited to return and order a hot rocks steak. It was fabulous as always, so tender, and as it is cooked at the table, it is precisely to your liking! I had...eye fillet with a nice pepper sauce. My dining partner had the garlic prawns and thoroughly enjoyed them. Chips were nice, but please bring back the chips from 2 years ago. Service was prompt and very professional and friendly. The owners deserve the return of the regular customers where you fight to get a booking. Best food around and worth the scenic drive through the local bush area. Thanks Erica pub!! Best wishes to you too, hope you enjoy a busy summer.More

Had dinner here on two nights. First night was an Aussie Pizza (small $14) which was excellent and one of the best I have had. My wife had the excellent 350g Rump on hot rock. Two nights later, we both had the Rump, with chips...and vegetables and again it was excellent for $26 each. A nice glass of wine to complement the meal a d you would be hard pressed to better.More

Astute motorcyclist will love this place with its historical 'chainsaw' theme hanging off the exposed beams. I personally rate this place very high. A crew of 8 riders went here in winter and all gave the thumbs up. Big fire, big meals, big dining, good...parking area is the right ingredients. Dont know what the accommodation is like but assume it fine. It will be our prime choice for lunch stop.More

We dropped in for dinner. Sensational lamb backstrap on hot rocks. Beautiful glass of house red to compliment it. Followed it up with a stunning dessert - sticky date pudding. The chef went the extra mile to bring out cracked pepper to go with the...lamb and extra whipped cream to go with our desserts. 9.5/10 for the atmosphere, wood fire, food, presentation and fabulous staff. Do yourself a favor if you are within driving distance.....have a meal here!!!! (Jane & Clyve)More

Pretty happy overall, it's always a pleasant place to visit as our extended family visit this time of year. Enjoy the Hot Rocks experience, it's a small place so the food sometimes is a bit slow. Not noisy or overwhelming, fireplace is excellent for a...cold night.More

Popped in as staying at Walhalla and nothing open! Stepped into a warm pub brimming with life! Greeted by a warm cheery smile from Kelly who gave exceptional service! Two surf and turf on hot rods and wife couldn’t finish her steak as they are...massive! Chef delivered the food quickly and even brought more chips out to us to make sure we got lots of hot chips! Too much food but cooked amazingly. Worth the drive or be sure to stop here for the best pub meal!More

We got stuck with road closures (wicked snow dump) and dropped in to Erica Hotel to regroup and work out what to do next. Staff were amazing. While we (2 families - total of 3 adults and 4 kids) ate a delicious meal and defrosted...by the fire, our rooms were made up for us. Was very occasional traffic noise but otherwise very quiet. Is budget accommodation, but very clean and beds were comfortable. We woke up to the sight of horses near our little outside balcony which the kids loved (they got to have a cheeky pat). The Manager or owner was amazing despite being woken up early this morning to let us back into the room not once but twice for items left behind. She was very patient and gracious at the interruption of her Saturday morning sleep in by annoying guests. Would happily and highly recommend Erica Hotel.More

Hi Jayde. Thankyou for your review. It was a pleasure looking after you and your family after your misfortune with the road closures. It was totally fine about letting you back in the room when needed. I hope you enjoyed the remainder of your weekend.

This is our second visit. The first time as a couple we were not overly impressed as i had finished my meal before my husbands had arrived, but thought we would give it a second go with the adult kids. Hot rocks are tasty, main...meals ok, chips cold, friendly atmosphere, but meals still didn’t come out together Would go again, but do it as a hot rocks sharing experience, so all would get to eat at the same timeMore

Hi Michele. Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry your meals weren’t all out at the same time. This happens sometimes if meals are cooked in different parts of the kitchen and by different staff members. I’m not sure if you...More

What a lovely rustic charm the Hotel has. Being a timber town the restaurant area is adorned with tools of the area such as vintage chain saws, timber saws plus other smaller equipment and photos relevant to the area. There is quite a good selection...of meals on the menu, from pizzas to the traditional meals. Interestingly the steaks come out on a hot rock so you get to cook the meat to your own liking, nice touch. I have eaten there a couple of times now and we have enjoyed our meals each time. The meals are well sized. This time I had curried chicken and while being quite nice I would have enjoyed a bit more kick to it. It would have been rated very mild to requesting medium in the spiciness. Staff were quite friendly - country friendliness. The day we went was a Saturday on the Queens birthday long weekend and it was very busy with a 4 wheel drive group and a motor bike group dropping in for a meal as well. We will certainly be going back again.More
