I went to brandy creek for my birthday to get a pamper. My fiancé and I are both vegetarian so we ordered a few different plates of food to share. Everything was bland, and covered in an aioli type sauce that looked as if it had split. The rocket salad was the highlight. I ordered a Prosecco, and it tasted like it had been split on a dusty floor before being put in my glass. The service was nice. Atmosphere was odd, no music and a very confused interior with all furniture clashing. The view was beautiful though. I had the brandy ritual at the spa and it was amazing. Skip the restaurant if you don’t eat meat and make sure you visit the spa.

Priced at $ 199.00 per head. Food was a 6 course meal over a 3 hour period, with music. Meals were very small serves & most of our table still hungry when we left. Some of the courses were nice, but others were really weird mixes that really didnt work (prawns especially were awful). Desert had no choices - mince tarts (yuck!!) with icecream (nice) & very dry chocolate cake. No plum pudding or trifle. Whoever arranged this menu needs to check what most Australians eat Xmas day, as very little was what Xmas Day usually includes. Given the amount we paid, it felt like a rip off. Could have dined at a 5 star restaurant in Melbourne for less money & much better food. Music was so loud at times that you couldnt have a conversation with anyone, as you couldnt hear them. The times it quietened down, conversation flowed easily. Have eaten here at other times and it was a lot better. Staff were lovely.

Having had incredible Spanish food before, (at Movida), we were looking forward to eating here, but sadly, it fell very short of our expectations. We ordered the 8 course tapas, & each course came out within 5-10 minutes of the previous, so most of it was cold by the time we got to it, & not very nice. The beef cheeks were really chewy, (& cold); the potatoes were undercooked (& cold); the chorizo was really salty (& cold); & the rest of it was so average that I can't even recall what we had now, (& that's really unusual for me). But I do recall that some of the courses had the same "pyjama top, but with a different bottom", because I said that to hubby when we were there. I did check reviews before booking here, but decided to give them a chance anyway, because as a chef, myself, I appreciate that we all have differing degrees & perceptions of good (& bad). Sadly, in this case, it seems that a lot of the "disappointed" reviews are true. What's even sadder, is that the management have taken no notice, it seems, to rectify the most obvious issue...the food. Surely they look at these websites, don't they? I always did Having said all that, I do want to say that, on the day we went, the service was incredible. Our waitress, Jess (I think), was an absolute darling, so we will give them another chance, one day soon, because I've always wanted to try their paella feast. So watch this space...

Considering they never replied to my Facebook message I will leave it here.... I can't express how disappointed I was to have celebrated my birthday with a bunch of girls there. The service was great until the end of the night where we kept having to call the waitress over for either more drinks or take our dessert order. We had the BBQ and the calamari was so hard it was like chewing on an old leather boot. Also what happened to the South American sauce, chimichurri that goes with the bbqed meat? Gravy does not go with any of the meat that was served. Lastly, the dessert. The dulce de leche ice cream should not have been on the menu. It was inedible, it was crystallised. It was like eating ice cream with a heap of raw sugar. When we called the waitress over to tell her she brought another batch only to tell us that she was sorry, the winery had lost power and the ice cream melted causing it to crystallise. UM ok as a customer I don't want to hear that I was served melted and refrozen ice cream. She had brought a second batch out only for it to be the same as the first. It was so awful! Also your price range is off... Considering you BBQ nights are $69.95 a head!!!

What a shame that the beautiful view of the vineyard & green rolling hills is not reflected in the service, quality & quantity of the food & value for money. Our party of four were bitterly disappointed after lunching there for a special celebration & opting for the tapas menu. Our dismay started with the arrival of the bread & dips, only to be served with one dip, a dessert spoon of pesto if we were lucky & a few slices of warm bread for $9.50! However, it was the mushroom dish, note the singular, that was the icing on the cake! The mushroom arrived in a tiny ramekin dish, which we then had to divide into quarters with a teaspoon for $19.00! We were all aghast by this time & just couldn’t believe the portion sizes & cost. Most of the staff were young & although our initial waitress was helpful the rest were inefficient, disorganised & haphazard. We ordered another 2 dishes as we were ravenous, but thankfully they never arrived! The Maître d’ came over to discuss our complaints, stating that it was most unusual to receive any & we had to argue our point about the 1 dip & quantity of our dishes. Despite the fact that the bill was reduced by $20 from the original $160 total, this did not make up for the food we were actually served. We would never return or recommend this as a food venue. We left hungry & dissatisfied, drove to Drouin & thankfully found a lovely cafe, The French Pear to sustain us! Our suggestion is drive into the car park to savour the vista, take a photo & leave promptly!!

Just wanted to start by giving Harry and his team at Brandy Creek a massive thank you for helping make it a very special day for myself and now fiancée. They organised a table right by the corner window which made it feel private, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly or attentive. It's the little things like that make a huge difference when it comes to service. The view from the table was stunning, looking across the vineyards and out into the hills. The food was delicious and for a Tapas menu the servings extremely generous. We had a bottle of the Pinot Gris (very very nice), the Potato Bravos, Mushrooms, Chorizo and Duck and couldn't finish it all between the 2 of us. Make sure you check them out.

After hearing about Brandy Creek Estate I thought I would love to experience it myself for my 50th Birthday. It was a lovely sunny day and we were looking forward to the view. After entering the restaurant we were seated in our reserved seats and given menus. Then a waitress gave us a run over on the wines and then meals. After we ordered we received our drinks then waited about 40mins for our tapas to start arriving. We ordered 4 different tapas and recieved only 1. We waited thinking more will come because thats what happens with tapas it all comes together. After another 20min 1 more came and we thought we better start eating for we were very hungry. We finished then was asked if we would like another drink and I said we hadn't received our other meals therefore she went to check the kitchen. Still no one came back and after waiting another 30mins I asked the table behind me if they received their meals and they said yes and knew that we were there way before them. I knew I had family coming to visit and we had been there for 2.5hrs and started to head to pay and then our meals came with lots of apologies that the chef crossed off our order once 2 tapas were served. I refused to sit back down for we had to leave and our lunch date was ruined. Staff were friendly but there was no order and because they kept swapping between tables no one knew who ordered what never mind how long we had waited. Very disappointed no very professional at all and tapas we received were not hot either.

Booked lunch for 1pm for 3 people and we had a spa booking at 2:45. Thought this would be plenty of time to enjoy lunch. We ordered drinks and food at 1:10 and our drinks came out at approximately 1:30 .. we then had the waitress come up to our table at 1:45 confirming everything we had ordered soon to find out our order hadn’t been put through. We waited until 2:20 with still no food that we ordered even after asking staff what was going on. Not even out Bread and dips came out that doesn’t require much effort. We had to leave without having anything for lunch because we were going to be late for our spa reservation. The staff weren’t apologetic and this seemed to be happening to a few table on the day. We were all very disappointed in the service and will not be returning.

The experience was very disappointing and not a venue I would take my family to again. The grounds when walking to the restaurant appeared neglected and overgrown not giving a fantastic first impression. Once in the restaurant we were greeted well with smiling staff. Our waitress was pleasant and helpful. We placed our food order but I had to initiate ordering drinks where I would have expected to be asked - minor point. The food in our opinion was slightly above average and the delay in service was far too long. There were not that many tables or people in there. We ( my wife & I) got out first round of tapas but there was further delay in getting our children their children’s meals. They were hungry and so ended eating our bread and some other items. They eventually arrived and were ample and nice. We got our remaining tapas and finished our meal. We ordered desert and had to wait close on 20 minutes for it to arrive. A portion of ice cream, cheesecake and fudge cake. All would have been ready made. My wife had to speak with the waitress to find out why it was taking so long. The venue charges top dollar for its food and wine yet the food is just above average and the service was poor. A price guide for a family of 2 adults and 2 young children was nearly $300. With only one bottle of wine. As I said before it was disappointing and certainly not value for money. We went on a Saturday for lunch and the venue was by no means busy

We were part of 12 guests celebrating a friend's birthday It was a very cold night in Gippsland and you would have thought that they would have had the heaters on for our comfort but instead we were shown to the incompletely set table on the back freezing room. The staff were rude and took a long time to come and acknowledge us and even with orders of drinks and food. The food was average and the service terrible. We were then rushed with our food as the kitchen was closing and then they called last drinks at 9.30 - this was on a Saturday night!!! Our bill was over $1000 with no offer of any compensation for the unpleasant night. This was not our first time there but will definitely be our last. Don't waste your time going there

As locals we thought we would take an overseas visitor to Brandy Creek for lunch as it is in a lovely location with great views and we have been numerous times before. However, it was a huge disappointment such that we won't be rushing back any time soon! The waitress was friendly in greeting us and sitting us down at our table, however the menu format has changed in that there is no list of tapas to order from, rather a set menu of either 5, 6 or 7 pre-selected tapas all of which had at least one item that we wouldn't order. The other option was their 'signature platters' which were just main meals which we opted for. We all had the grilled barramundi with a spicy prawn paste, potatoes gratin style and some kind of salad. The meal was extremely disappointing in that it was all so rich, and nothing seemed to go together. The really rich potatoes were cheesy, with a rich spicy sauce over the fish. The salad was just simply awful - strong sundried flavour. The fish would have been much better with just some simple plain potatoes and a very simple plain salad. At $43 each, we all left about half of our meal as it was simply inedible. Shame, as it is in such a nice location. We'll now just have to find alternative locations for our visitors in future.

We had our work Christmas party here and I was so looking forward to it. But the food was not what I expected. So looking forward to the ribbs but didn't recognise them as they were placed n the table. They call it Spanish style of cooking but I wonder if the chef has ever been to Spain. It was just all tomato sauce covered and not nice. Then at 9pm we get told last drinks as they close at 9.30pm.......we had booked the private function room and told them it's a work Christmas party....they never once told us they close so early. I would not be recommending this to anyone. It's a shame as I try to support my local business.

A quirky little restaurant set in the middle of an estate, this is beautiful even in winter. The setting is amazing and cosy. Food was exceptionally good. We ordered some tapas to share which were tasty and very fresh. I would recommend the lamb ribs and beef cheek as well as the garlic prawns. Portion size was excellent. We ordered 2 plates of each and shared between 5 and there was enough left over as well.

Had a lovely day with family, food and service was really good. Tried Jamon which l found to be both dry and sliced too thick making it very chewy. Reputed to be the best in the world when it comes to air cured meat it fell well short of expectations. The other letdown was the coffee, not sure what brand they are serving but it was both bitter and burnt in flavour and lacked the nice creamy finish you would expect from a short black.

A picturesque location over- looking vines and rolling hills made for a most pleasant group lunch, even on a day of solid rain. Special dietary requirements were carefully considered by both waitress and chef. We chose from the Mains menu with everyone happy with their selection. We all enjoyed the accompaniments of scalloped potato, almond salad and fresh, warm bread. Staff were helpful and meals came in good time. We had a great afternoon.
