Thanks Jarrod and team for a warm friendly atmosphere and welcoming country hospitality. Amazing Parma choices and the if the fish where any fresher it would’ve bitten back. Clean comfy room steeped in history. Thanks, we’ll be back.
Great pub, very welcoming as soon as we walked in the staff greated us. Friends were already there & had ordered their meals & having a drink by the fire in the beer garden & it was no trouble to add us on. The food...was great plenty of choice & really good prices. The whole place has a nice vibe to it. Definitely will go backMore
Wow! What a little gem. The customer service was exceptional. The food, wonderful. The ambiance, brilliant. We were greeted by a warm open fire and a warm, friendly welcome. It almost felt like we were meeting up at a friends house. The food was beautiful....Thoughtful, excellently cooked, melt in your mouth, delicious...I could go on all day. The table service was impeccable. The building was beautiful with all of the original trimmings and features.
We enjoyed the atmosphere the most. The owners and staff of the Cricket Club are the very heart and soul of this wonderful place and the reason we will keep returning. It almost feels like you’re visiting a loved family member who is also a fantastic cook. Thank you. XMore
Group booking of 27 friends on motorbikes. Preordered our meals a few weeks before hand to enable our journey to continue without too much of a wait for meals for lunch.
This worked perfectly. Meals came out quickly for all once we were seated.
Meals...eaten with lots of comments that the food was delicious.
Dessert menu looked tempting.
Definitely recommend this pub for lunch.
We plan to return and hopefully fit in desserts.
Lots of parking out front available for the motorbikes.

We have driven past this pub many times , decided to stop and have lunch, from the outside looks like an old country pub but inside, Wow what a surprise food was absolutely beautiful , did not expect this quality had the haloumi salad and...the duck beautiful flavours, gorgeous older style pub , can't recommend highly enough , will definitely be back .More
My wife and I have dined here many times over the past few years and always forgot to put a review in - so here I go - An fantastic old pub with a touch of class, not only are Helena and her husband absolutely...wonderful hosts but Helena prepares the most wonderful meals whilst the service provided in the dinning area by her hubby is efficient friendly and warm, so next time your passing by drop in and experience it for yourself, you will pleased - especially during the colder weather where they most likely will have the open fire warming the dinning room.More
