This is my fourth time at this restaurant and it was perfection once again. My family went for lunch to celebrate my husband's birthday and as usual it was par excellence. Attentive service and fantastic food. This is the best restaurant in the whole of the Dordogne and one of my favourites in the whole of France. We always take... More

With the new owner's from Trémolat having taking over we thought the new bistro (created from an old Dance hall) would match their other one in Trémolat. It doesn't! A huge lack of choice, 4 options one being the 'plat de jour' so if you didn't happen to like, tripe sausage, octupus or foie-gras, foorget it. The menu is very... More

New restaurant, same owners as La Tour de Vents. The food was very nice, you have an option of choosing between two kind of menus, one of 17€ the other of 26€, both itch out drinks. The vies were excellent, the place is very big, but for my opinion a bit unpersonal and cold. In general a good experience.

We have been to the Tour des Vents on a few occasions and it has always lived up to its one star Michelin reputation. The food is very imaginative and, for this part of France, has the rare feature of a vegetarian option. From the amuse-bouche to the wonderful desserts - all courses are delicious. The wine list is scary... More

This new bistrot is next door to and is owned by La Tour des Vents. The format is, i believe, very different from it's Michelin starred neighbour. The bistrot is open Mondays to Fridays for lunch only. The main menu is à la carte and has a selection of three starters, three main courses and various deserts and a cheese... More

It was my birthday and my husband and I were looking forward to a great experience. When he booked on line the confirmation came back for a different date. This was remedied and we had a confirmation for our booking for the right date. When we arrived they could not find our booking. In spite of a table for two... More

I have been coming here for many years and can confirm that not once have I ever been disappointed by the luxurious quality and presentation of the food as well as wonderful staff ! A piece of France hidden away on top of a hill.

We booked by telephone. It is not easy to find but when we found it we were greeted by a construction site. However spotting the restaurant car park on the other side of the road we ventured across the road and found the rather anonymous entrance. Once inside it proved very smart and were taken aback by the incredible view... More

Under new management, we paid our 4th visit to this outstanding restaurant. Same table as previous times (coincidence?), warm welcome and the food?.........exceptional. A must if you are in the area oh and the views over Bergerac & up & down the Dordogne valley are breathtaking. Cannot wait for next visit.

We had a big table of 8 adults and 7 kids all under 4 - I would not have let us in if I were them! A great 3 hour meal which was wonderful and unhurried, with an amazing view. No menu in English which was a shame as the food was unusual and not easily translated. Was fabulous food,... More
