Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Dinner with friends on a Friday night. We live a few kilometers from Millesimo, but we had never been to this restaurant. It was recommended by our children. Ottimo consiglio! Cute place, well furnished and cared for., although simple, unpretentious. In addition to inside, there is the possibility to eat under the porches, al fresco, on a beautiful wooden platform, which separates a little from the passage (option we chose given the heat), or in a closed outdoor more external. Great food, good seasonal and local ingredients, well presented dishes. Good choice also for vegetarians. Very kind staff, all female, you feel welcome! Price without surprises. Thank you We will definitely return and recommend it. If I have to make a note: I noticed a detail already read in another review, so I emphasize it because it's probably a habit... And since it can be corrected simply, I write: the very kind and cute waitress who served us the wine, picked up the drop with her finger (but barely touching the neck of the bottle, so not bad...). A gesture that can easily be corrected with the use of the napkin (which was then rightly provided together with the ice bucket). Grazie mille a Pantarei per la piacevole serata!

Located in the main street of the city, offers tables both indoors and outdoors, excellent and original cuisine, such as lasagna bread carasau, stuffed with vegetables and pesto, excellent tajarin with truffles. Friendly and welcoming staff, not excessive prices. Recommendation definitely.

In the square of Millesimo, no parking problems (weekday). Owner smiling and very kind. Excellent tagliolini with truffle (white), cost in the average of the area. The desserts are also good. Overall worth the stop, pleasant interlude in the direction of Langhe. If in the area stop without problems.

Then the restaurant is nice and does not eat badly but in my opinion the value for money is inadequate. Or larger portions or smaller prices. We took a glass of wine and the girl filled them in half, meaning it looked like a glass drunk by others. Then I took a first course with lemon among the ingredients, lemon paste tuna and zucchini, here of lemon you could not feel even a tip, it was a normal good tuna pasta here, but nothing more than the pasta I usually make at home... Then we had a tuna veal in two. That was good and portion okay... Overall, however, I do not want to return here, say without infamy and without praise

We had dinner during the truffle festival. We spent a crazy amount of money. Cold dishes, poor content and not pleasant to the eye. The truffle had no taste. Absolutely negative experience. Total disappointment.

Stopped by here on our way to France from Turin. We were happy to find somewhere open since it’s Liberation Day and most things were closed. This place was great! The arugula pesto is delicious, and you can taste how homemade the pasta is. My father got the ragù with cod and olives and LOVED it! Also the soap in the bathroom smells amazing. Highly recommend!

If in Italy you get to eat where the locals do - your trip is already a success! We found this place by chance and felt in love. Amazing food, great service, cozy location - everything was perfect! And great price/quality, by the way!

Hi everyone, I was fortunate enough to go to Pantarei with my Italian girlfriend's family for dinner recently. The restaurant is located in the main street/square of Millesimo, which has a lovely cobbled road running through it and is very beautiful to visit. For the restaurant itself, it was nice and cosy. I was really impressed with the quality of the produce and expertise of the chefs. All of the primi (the pasta) were freshly made on the premises. I would highly recommend the 'Vitello tonnato' as a starter, it shouldn't work but does!. Then the 'Mandilli al pesto' We had a stunning meal and we had a lovely bottle of wine to accompany it. Mattia and Elena were extremely attentive to our needs and couldn't do enough for us. Look forward to going back there in the future. Josh

A new entry in a little village , where for hinerit a long cousine tradition , it always been in force but at the moment , this restaurant symbolize a good option considering price and quality of dishes. Any menu voice is prepared on call and for sure the freshness is certainly appreciated plus a lot of options suggested by the owner in orde to satisfy the guest Excellent price considering the large option list on saisfactory wines

Just looking for a nice place to lunch we found this small Reataurant in the Main Street. Very friendly service and great wines provide us with an excellent lunch in Millesime. Simple but cosy interior and it seems to be pop mom and daughter show. Locals come in for lunch. Always a good sign. Very good value for money!

Certainly a place for a nice lunch or dinner. Most dishes use local ingredients. You can find their origin written on the menu. From the pasta dishes with local truffle to argentinian beef cooked to perfection, you will certainly find the food well balanced and tasty. Try the mandille, a pasta made of hazelnut, spectacular.

We serendipitously happened upon the Pantarei Restaurant in Millesimo, one of Italy's 100 most beautiful borghi. The Lardo bianco and speck melted in our mouths. Cold Breaded pan fried steaks "in Carpione" we flavorful with vinegar and rosemary. The chestnut flour pasta Mondilli with pesto green beans and potatoes was delightful even though we forgot to dust with the fresh grated Parmesan.

A small but incredibly great restaurant. Dinner is served beginning at 7:30 pm or 19:30 euro time. The waitress, who is a daughter & grand daughter of the owners, helped us through the menu in English. I had pasta with pesto & potato, my partner had fettuccine with broccoli and a bean/veggie soup. All were spectacular. Best was the beer from the local monastery and wine made by the restaurant's proprietors. My photo is of the menu cover which was painted by the waitress' grandfather.

We decided to stop in this town because is listed as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, personally didn't like it, maybe it was chosen because of its historic importance as this was a Napoleonic war site... Luckily we found this place open thanks to a local; we were wandering around the historic center for sometime without success... the restaurant itself is small, like a trattoria type and is cutely decorated. Ordered just a plate of bresaola (air-dried salted beef) with grana (cheese) flakes; tagliatelle (pasta) with meat sauce and plain tagliatelle. The pasta was delicious, fresh made, portions were a bit small, everything went well after hours... Cost of each dish 8.00 affordable prices and the staff (one waitress) is quick and efficient.. This is a good place to stop for a meal if you ever stop in this town...

Stopped at this place on the way to Alba from Nice, France and what a find it was. Have eaten there twice now, once for lunch, once for dinner. The value for money is incredibly. The first time we ate there, there were 8 of us and we had a dish each, plus desserts and house wine. The bill worked out to less than 15 euros a head. The polenta with cinghiale (wild boar) was incredible. The second time we had vitello tonnato (the best I've had), prosciutto crudo, fettucini with scampi and zucchini, ravioli with artichokes and tagliata and everything was excellent. Really excellent. For dessert we had panna cotta and bunet and both were exquisite. Can't recommend this place highly enough.
