It's a pretty nice place to visit. I'd previously tried their pale ale & a mid strength in another place nearby, both of which I found to be quite bland & I thought that's all they had, but in the brewery itself they have a much larger range of beer styles, from IPAs to fruity beers to red ales to dark beers. Everything I tried while I was there was delicious, although the big surprise was the smoked BBQ meat platters they served. I went for a simple, everything was tender and had great flavour. Really glad I went, everything was fantastic. One note though, Saturdays are a must to book ahead as everything was booked out when I arrived & I only booked ahead just in case, I'm glad I did as I overheard a phone call while I was there at 6:30pm for someone trying to book a table & the place was already packed out by then or all tables were booked. Definitely a popular place on a weekend.

We booked that morning and managed to get a booking straight away for 3 for lunch. When we arrived I wasn’t sure how it would be as the entrance is a tiny door in the industrial area. The minute we walked din we knew we’d made the right choice. The food was OUTSTANDING, we had brisket burgers and the pork burger. A good size meal, the meat was divine and the service was exceptional. The atmosphere was lovely and really something different! Would definitely come again and bring family.

New to living on the Central Coast and spent the day checking out the local places to visit and bring friends when they come to visit. Friendly atmosphere and well worth coming back.

Been to this place many times as we are locals and never had a problem. This time it was pretty cold outside and one of our party asked politely if it was possible to close the door. This was met with a semi hostile response citing an 8 o'clock booking for the reason they can't close it.....strange! When the booking did not show they closed the door which made an immediate difference to the internal temperature. However this came at the cost of the 6 or 7 tables closet to the door that all left leaving two tables of patrons only. One of our group ordered a large and small beer and was advised in patronising tone that for future reference small is 7 ounce and large is pint. We are a group of business owners and have never witnessed such pretentiousness and a distinct lack of customer service. We observed the staff serving others as if it was a chore. Will not hurry back.

well the locals said that this was the place to go, my advice is don't visit "a setting in an industrial estate with no windows is a factory not a place to enjoy beer and food with friends and family". there are so many better places, the food was expensive for what it was, the nachos very average, the beer, well there are so many better brewers around and the cider was flat. we were out of there as fast as we could finish the beer and food, never to return

I was invited to experience a few different brews with a mate and was really looking forward to it. On arrival - well had to find the smallest door with a tiny sign, just to find out its a factory with no windows and few seats and tables. As I approached the bar and was getting cash from pocket, the barman rudely said "that's no good here mate". I thought he was joking. He then said "No card no drinks" snapping his fingers... My reply as I walked out was " fair enough I spend my "cash" else where where its cheaper and with a place with an outdoor setting and windows. The barman could of been nicer about it - And I might of stayed - but I'm never going back nor would I recommend it to anyone

Have been looking forward to visiting this craft brewery on the Central Coast for a while and as we were in the area the time was right. Great range of tap and take away craft brewed beers with the Tropical Pale Ale and On Tour Mid were both a great take away and enjoy later choice.

Sadly I can't comment on the beer (my hubby is the beer enthusiast, not me!) but the lunch was excellent! Stopped in with hubby, 2 teenage kids and my mother, so hubby could grab some beer, and ended up staying for the food. It was delicious! The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was great (we all absolutely LOVED the free retro table top arcade game) and the meals were huge and delicious!

Called a few days ahead to make sure they were open as wanted to go there specifically for Black Bear, young kid says not sure check the website. Made a booking online For standard table as there were kids and grandparents. Arrive to be told no you’re at the high top table that’s all we have, advised that I made a booking specifically for a standard table, this young kid couldn’t really give two hoots. Asked to speak to the manager, she asked a group to move to the high table in return for a free round of drinks, they did. Went to bar and asked for a bottle of Sav Blanc (white wine as per their menu) along with other drinks, come back to table to realise we were given a Semillion Sav Blanc, went back to bar and said sorry I asked for Sav Blanc only to be rudely told that’s all they have, they don’t stock Sav Blanc, I said oh I was just going off your menu. “The Manager” slammed the bottle down on the counter to which I then asked is there a problem! If you want to try Black Bear make the effort and go to a proper Black Bear. The food was nice and so were the cooks, maybe they could teach a thing or two to the bar staff!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO GO TO THIS PLACE!!

You wouldn’t know this place was here. It’s in a smallish warehouse block. Not near enough signage only a road sign with the name of the business. Even when you get into the car park it’s barely even noticeable. So it’s set up like a pub but with huge stainless steel brewing vats. Not a huge ‘restaurant’. Bench and stool seating. Many beers to choose from but if you don’t like beer selection is limited. The only non alcoholic drink (I think) was their 6 strings lemonade which was delicious not overly sweet with a hint of bitterness. A large selection of beers and tasting paddles available. Food is basically limited to burgers and fries. I don’t eat meat and would of liked to of seen a fish burger or veggie patty burger on the menu. So I opted for the fish taco. Not bad but have had better. The only vegetarian burger was a tofu one. Friends had burgers, decent size all served with fries in a basket. The prawn poppers were delicious. The cost for 2 burgers, a fish taco and prawn poppers $71 not including drinks they were extra. Personally I think a little pricey. Not sure, I was told on Wednesday they have $10 burger night but that needs to be checked. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Not sure if I’d go again not really into beer and a bit pricey fo a couple of burgers.

Couple of tasting paddles at craft beer brewery. Nothing much from the outside in a factory complex however done a job to create atmosphere inside. Friendly staff with good service and the beers tasted great. We had some BBQ wings which could have been better with too much sauce for most people. Worth a visit especially if part of the Central Coast Scenic Sips.

We had a little team meeting at the brewery, they had a video slide show to explain the concept behind the business. After our meeting they gave us a quick tour (it's not a huge place) then we had burger & chips. I would recommend it for a light meal and drinks anytime. Good for friday after work or do one of their tours at 11am on a Saturday. They even do a monthly Brew Day where you can get involved for $75
