AAA+ what an amazing find on a rainy Sunday afternoon in Copacabana NSW. Amazing experience, tasty, vibrant and delicious food. Who’d have thought you could find a tapas restaurant near the beach. Friendly staff and a great host, very welcoming for our family.

Not 5 star food or service. It’s not bad food, just very small portion sizes. The tapas are expensive for a dinner with friends. Why does the waitress think it’s ok to argue with a customer when asked can there be 4 items on each...dish? 4 adults out for dinner and 3 items on a plate served up, no alterations to the menu allowed. Not a restaurant we would happily return to.More
What a great location. Right near the beach. Staff are friendly and very nice. Food was amazing and tasted great. Great range of food, Presentation was fantastic. Great choice of cocktails. My only reason for not giving 5 stars was we waited over 1 hr...to get pork belly. In saying that it tasted amazing and was worth the wait. Must have been cooked on demand and not pre cooked. Overall great place to visit. If you are in the area a must to do on your list.More

We had been been to this restaurant last year and had a fabulous experience. I am not sure if they have changed chefs since then but this time is was absolutely woeful. From beginning to end, the whole experience disappointed especially as it is not...cheap. Firstly the waitress, who was obviously new, argued with us about what was on the menu and had no idea about what each item was. One main arrived on its own before the tapas or anything else. We had to follow up on the remainder of our order as they seemed they have forgotten. I asked for medium steak and it was so so over cooked and the cheapest piece of meat. The edamame were boiled beyond recognition, the arancini were cold in the middle and the salad had slimy pieces of lettuce mixed in. Such a shame as it had so much potential for Copacabana. We’ll go to the pub next time.More

My boyfriend and I had a delicious selection of the meals on offer! The Soft Shell Crab taco and the freshly caught mussels were amazing! Also sampled the garlic prawns! The staff at this beachside restaurant are friendly & helpful. The food was superb & the service was excellent. We ate there twice during our 3 day stay in Copacabana & would have liked to have eaten there again but they closed for Xmas!
Always a great local restaurant in Copacabana. Excellent fish- barramundi on bed of chick peas and lemony humus and fresh local kingfish. Fantastic mushroom vege burger for vegetarians. The service is friendly and easy with a warm welcome. Well priced. Local singer guitarist on Thursdays...and special offers on Wednesday nights. We count ourselves very lucky to have this as our local favorite!More
We had a lovely evening at Ocean Bar Cantina this week. Friendly and efficient service. A good selection of tapas dishes, and reasonably priced wines. The only thing that disappointed was the patatas bravas which, while quite tasty, bore little relation to the traditional Spanish...dish.More
We were excited to try this restaurant and ordered some little plates to share to start. Our booking was at 7pm. It started to rain and we had to put up our own umbrellas as we had a dog and were sitting outside. The service...was terrible- felt rushed like the staff just wanted to go home 🤷🏼♀️ she gave us menus and we ordered water - came back in literally 1 min to get food order and didn’t ask about drinks. Every time we ordered she had no idea who the order was for - there was only 7 people. Food was nice but a bit bland for supposedly Spanish- needs some garlic, salt and chilli. That was not patatas bravas and the chicken schnitzel was like a child’s portion. The roasted cauliflower was lovely. Pasta special really bland and pasta was undercooked. After we ate we were not offered a dessert menu and when I asked for a coffee at 8.30pm was told the coffee machine was turned off and the cocktail bar was closed. Ridiculous!! The place is lovely and location but wouldn’t go back due to poor service and unwelcoming atmosphere. Also mains menu a little dull and food needs more flavour - I hope they can address some of these issues as most people don’t want to go home at 8.30 on a Saturday night !!!More

What a great find. The food and service was amazing I will definitely be back I highly recommend a visit. We had a variety of dishes between the 8 of us and all of them were fantastic. My 87 pop said it was the best...chicken schnitzel he had ever had. My nachos were so full of flavour and there was plenty to share between two. Winning !!More
Lovely position opposite Coppabana Beach. Nice clean lines inside and about 4 tables outside. Small menu ( not a lot for a vegan or vegetarian) , but what we had was super tasty and filling. Good variety of Alcoholic and Non drinks. Great young woman...that served us, super friendly and chatty. Would definitely returnMore

We really enjoyed our dinner at Ocean Bar. The staff are very friendly and attentive , the food was spectacular and they offer delicious gluten free options too which is fantastic.
