Loved it!
Service , food and atmosphere was perfect. We had a visitor from Melbourne so went on the Gondola ride and decided to eat out but my mum is having an operation in a couple and was limited to only eating steamed fish and steamed or boiled white vegetables. We went to Mr Walker one of our favourites but they refused to steam a piece of fish and boil a potato so we though we'd try Cocos( was a favourite back in the 90's) the maitre d said no problem but the chef wouldn't accommodate the request apparently all the potatoes had already been par boiled with olive oil and wasn't interested in boiling a fresh one. Hence we went next door to Ramblas never been there before!!!
They couldn't of been more accommodating impeccable service from the time we walked in and our Chilean waitress was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our view of the Swan River was incredible and all our meals delicious. If your like me and stuck in a time warp and always go to the same old Cocos and Mr Walker try Ramblas instead you won't be better and even the price is more reasonable

We booked Rambla specifically because we were entertaining Interstate friends and wanted somewhere decent with city views for them to appreciate.
Although the trees around the ferry jetty tend to block out the best city buildings there are pleasant views across the river to the Causeway end of the city.
It is a busy venue with some areas being used as a bar and some as a restaurant, and of course attracts a touristy clientele to a degree, but that didn’t detract.
We were seated on a pleasant table on the terrace and there were plenty of staff to organise drinks and menus.
The menu is quite wide ranging, plenty of options to cover all tastes, most of us had the Dewfish and prawns, ($38.00), which was delicious, a pescatarian was very happy with her ‘super salad’ ($24.00 + $6.00 for salmon) and the Italian sausage pizza ($22.00), suited the sixth member.
The wine list is extensive and reasonably priced.
Overall we were very happy with all aspects of our visit, food, service and wine were fine.
After service – I noticed once home that we had been charged for two Gin and Tonics where the post mix had run out and the tonic was like soda water. One call and the restaurant refunded the overcharge without any grief. Happy with that.

I love the fresh, local produce and gluten free options. The staff always go above and beyond to make your dinning experience pleasant and mouth watering. Plates served worthy of art prizes and taste bud stimulating sensations. Highly recommend 5 stars!

My family visited "Rambla" on the 28/10/2020 for a luncheon / wake after my Mothers passing. There was 12 of us and we had a table overlooking the river with a fantastic view. We were waited on by a very pleasant girl named Laura who did everything some one in a restuarant of that quality should. Thankyou Laura. Overall the meals were great and the service was excellent but our experience was tainted by a couple of blatant episodes. Firstly to get a drink in the first 10 minutes was not possible and by the time they arrived we should have been on the second round. For an "etree" my wife had scallops which were paper thin slices and tasteless ...very disappointing. My brother, for his main had fish which was a disgrace and horribly overpriced. For $38 he received a piece of fish about half the size of a cigarette packet without exaggeration . We all love fine dining and well presented dishes but there is a big difference between that and a "'BLATANT RIP OFF ". It was very unfortunate but we left after paying $1400 feeling as though we were once again "ripped off " I doubt if we would return or recommend which is sad for such a highly rated place. I hope the management read and take notice of my comments as they are honest and hopefully constructive. Disappointing !!!!

We went for my partners 35th birthday with myself & my father. Unfortunately the food was meh, very oily + bland. The pumpkin salad was the only thing we enjoyed.. We also ordered coffee & tea after for dessert and had a little run in with one of the waitress for no particular reason at all. We order a ice mocha which says in the menu that comes with cream or ice cream, it was missing when it arrived to the table which was no big deal at all but me being a huge ice-cream fan and craving something a little naughty asked if I could have a scoop on top 🤤 it was met with pure disgust from the waitress and a lot of attitude saying they don’t do that... we asked for the menu & politely pointed at that option w/ the icecream and was still met with a lot of backchat 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ after a lot of back and forth she brought a drink back out & stood there waiting for me to sipped it which was a very uncomfortable. Unfortunately it has left a sour taste in our mouth about the establishment.
For the owners; We went on the 7th April at 7pm & it was the lady with the dark hair waiting the back half of the room near the back booths outside. Maybe she was having a off day 🙇🏼♀️🙇🏼♀️ but kinda dampened the celebrations.

We met a family who had just dined at Rambla on Swan while we were checking the menu deciding which restaurant to dine in. They very politely recommended this restaurant to us and went further to say they visited this restaurant every year and would bring there friends and family here for special occasions. We took their advice and decided to dine at Rambla on Swan. It was a wonderful experience and we enjoyed the food, service and the view. This restaurant is highly recommended!

We had a meal at Rambla last night. It had been shut after the COVID shut down and the owners and used the closure to renovate the outside area.
My wiofe and I had seafood dishes of the mains on the menu and they were cooked to perfection. Fish is hard to do, and mine was excellent.
The service was a little haphazard but this is probably due to the need to settle the flow of the restaurant after its re-opening.
We will come back in a little while as the food was excellent.

Poor staff attitude, three of us aged mid 60’s went for Sunday afternoon drinks. We enjoyed our drink but after finding it a bit noisy outside we went to the lounge but the music was very loud. We asked the staff if they could turn it down a little but were told this is the volume we use and basically it was accept this or piss off which we did. We also decided if that was the attitude we would not proceed with our planned function for 50 people and chose elsewhere. The lounge was not busy and they could have easily made an effort to turn it down a little but displayed an arrogance that is unacceptable anywhere.

Went there for a group dinner on a Saturday night, excellent location and great for drinks on the terrace. But, the food was unimaginative close to boring. Personally I had a vegetarian option which was basically enhanced rocket leaves with a few cranberries on top, why bother having a vegetarian option. Friends who selected mainstream options would have eaten better at home. The staff were friendly and efficient but the kitchen was painfully slow.
Go for drinks and finger food and then eat elsewhere.

Was originally going to write a very positive review as we were all having a fantastic day, until we moved into the lounge area.
One of the group who ordered drinks at the bar was told, by a fresh faced bartender, that we should mix it up with water!! After a few minutes another waiter came to our table holding 6 glasses and a jug of water pushing what was in the middle of table aside very rudely then making some remark that we needed water! And then walked away. To be very very clear we were not behaving in any way badly, we were happy! Laughing and talking because we were happy! Look back on your CCTV, you will see how we behaved over the entire day we were there. Perfectly!!! You were happy to take my $ though. Your lounge staff were very passive aggressive and if this is how you treat your patrons we will definitely never be coming back. We felt so humiliated and angry at how we were treated at the end. Shame on you! And by the way we did drink water plenty of it, inflated expensive bottled water then tap water!!!! Do not go to this restaurant if you are a group of women who want to have an enjoyable day out. Don’t think this would have happened if there were males in the group, just saying!!!!!!!

Having eaten here before I expected a similar experience however I was totally disappointed. The qualit6 of the food was not up to the standard I expected. In fact you would have needed a magnifying glass to see the scallops. The Thai fish cakes were dry and had very little taste and the price of $75 was totally overpriced. Won’t be coming back

We thought to try Rambla on Swan for my wife’s birthday. First impressions were excellent. Greeting staff were very friendly. Our table was outside with a fabulous view of our magnificent swan river.
Ordered a French champagne and considered the menu.
We shared two entree of carpaccio of beef and ceviche of WA kingfish and bay scallops. Excellent.
Mains for us were grain fed Harvey beef and black Angus sirloin. With a rocket salad. Again it was excellent although we were struggling to get through it all. Great night and fantastic and friendly staff made for a great night evening.

Went for dinner on a warm night with relatives celebrating a wedding anniversary, we had a fantastic table on the outdoor deck. Great staff but expensive small meals, my prawn linguine had 3 prawns sliced in half. Pizzas were Turkish bread with mediocre toppings. Definitely a case of paying for location.

We went here for Father’s Day lunch and have to say it was the best father’s Day lunch that we have had the service and attention by Anna was amazingly attentive!
The food, the wine, the cocktails, it was all to perfection. We will definitely be coming back.

Can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much for making our Father’s Day so spectacular and special! Xx
