Our first visit to “Ciao Italia” was back in 2010, which left us with a good impression in terms of its food, particularly their chili mussels. Unfortunately I can't say the same when we returned for our 2nd visit to last week. Firstly we were disappointed to learn that their chilli mussels were sold out for that day (it was... More

This place has enough atmosphere to help you forget completely that you're in Perth. With an all-Italian-speaking staff speaking exclusively to each other in Italian and to the customers in a rich combination of the sweetest sounding Italian phrases and addresses, you really feel like a little bit of Sicily has been placed on this special corner of Perth just... Visited here with family and could not believe the buzz about the place. Restaurant is a decent size and tables are close together. The turnover of the tables is flat out and I could not believe the friendly staff . The food was out of this world the most amazing lasagna, and ravioli was eaten . The lasagna was huge... More

This is the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The food is excellent and the waiters were so friendly and helpful. I recommend this place to everyone that loves Italian food and I will definitely be back!

Simple, because it's very good! During my 3 years living in South Perth I never got to try this place, but driving past I always wondered why there is usually a queue outside - especially around 5-6 pm. On a recent trip back to Perth I suggested to a couple of friends that we try Ciao Italia, and I am... More

Ciao Italia has been in business for 18 years of which I have been a customer for some 10 and it is one of my favourite Italian places in Perth. It used to be half its current size and people had to wait outside as they don't take bookings but that is still the case. Their menu hasn't changed much... More

The food is amazing. The service is amazing. The ambience.... ohhhhh the ambience. Honestly a must go if you are in Perth. Good place and big helpings. However there is a 30 min wait for a table. But it is worth it.

As they don't take bookings we arrived at 6.00 pm on a Wednesday night and got the last table for 2. We were prepared to queue if we had to but not for too long. It was packed! I know why. The food is excellent and the service very friendly and efficient. We had two pasta dishes which were full... More

This is one of the best Italian places in Perth and has been here ever since I can remember. The food is good, service fast and the prices average. It isn't licensed though, is very noisy and can be quite crammed. But if you want good Italian food in Oerth head on down here.
