Mugaritz is a very difficult epicurean experience to describe. It was one of the most unique dining experiences I have ever had. It definitely expanded my gastronomic horizons far beyond anything I have ever expected. We had lunch on a Sunday that was a 3...More

Wow! Where to start with Mugaritz? This is certainly a unique dining experience unlike anything I've ever experienced before. The waiter even discussed with us after finishing our meal that it would take a few days to reflect on what had just happened. What had...More

Perfect location, unexpected tantalizing preparations, mentally challenging cuisine and wonderful pairing with non alcoholic infusions and drinks. More casual service than a 3-star Michelin restaurant. Diners who wish to experience a new gastronomic adventure must surely try Mugaritz. Expect your tastes to be challenged and...More

My wife and I headed to Mugaritz with another couple for what we though was going to be an incredible culinary experience, we could not have been more let down. We consider ourselves to be open minded eaters, and we were excited to get to...More

On Friday 11th August 2017 we followed the advice of our family blindly, though sceptic, and took place at one of the tables at Mugaritz. According to hem, Mugaritz was really one of the hotspots in the area. Looking back, it’s a pitty we didn’t...More

It's amazing. It's surprising. It's not what you expect. A little bit too much raw food for our younger family members. We're from Skandinavia and our english is ok, but we had some trouble understanding some of the younger waiters. Anyway, this was a great...More

A visit to Mugaritz is all about managing expectations. When you are not into culinary adventure, don't go here. When you are looking for a romantic dinner with your better half or look forward to beautifully crafted plates of food, looking like paintings and constructed...More

All the negative reviews were spot on. I've never discontinued a tasting menu before and I did here. Each course was more disgusting than the last. Poorly constructed. I'm Chinese and very comfortable eating strange foods. This was just utterly inedible. And to add insult...More

I can't believe the bad reviews over here. My dinner with some friends this week was the best gastronomic experience in my life. The restaurant in the middle of nowhere is stunning. Staff very friendly but waiters need to show more confidence explaining the dishes.Our...More

This was an interesting experience in many ways! We were on a gastronomic trip to San Sebastián and of course Mugaritz was on our hit list. They take a Noma style approach with 25 courses and it started very well, by half way one of...More

Yes, there is. I visited it in October of 2016 and the wine pairing was either 120 or 140 euros per person, I can't really remember.

Yes, Mugaritz can offer gluten-free options. The best time to request such is when you make your booking.
