We have eaten here once a year over the last 10 years or so. It is always really busy but the staff work really hard to keep customers happy and supplied with food and drink. They have a set menu which includes the cold buffet for starters. This is an excellent selection of fresh food and includes some fish and... More

Nice terras in Hautvillers, friendly service but the food is not memorable. Good for a quick functional stop but don't expect much.

This restaurant is literally in the centre of the town. The lunch menu offers a big selection of salad as the starter, you still have main course, cheese, dessert and coffee. The wines here are good but not expensive. It is a good place to eat before the champagne tasting and shopping.

With the best location in this much visited Champagne village open from morning till late, good local champagnes, as many locals as tourists, if you are lucky - cheese on the house and daily lunch platters with good smiling service ... drop in if you are there.

We were seeking lunch and came across this, on a Saturday the only offering was a help yourself buffet or toasted sandwich. Basically they had no interest in us as customers, we found our own seat indoors and my wife helped herself to the buffet. I ordered the toasted sandwich which frankly was horrible. It turns out that they are... More

Went to sit inside because of slight rain, bet it's even nicer to sit outside on the square. There are 5-6 choices of main courses, daily updated. Don't expect fancy cuisine, but just solid good no- nonsense french Meals. Had a 3course menu for around 17euro wich was more than enough! Staff served us with very Big smile, and Total... More

We went for a coffee as it is situated in the centre of the village and has outside seating. The location is perfect with views of the champagne fields and the village. Coffee very good, service good. It makes a very good stop off place after looking around a very pretty village. Toilets are good clean and modern. They are... More

Everyone is welcome to spend their money at a location where credit cards dont work, food is terrible (just snap some french fries from some unfortunate for proof) and prices are completely ridiculous. Please save your day and money. This place is 100% tourist ripoff.

We were late for lunch - at 15:30 the kitchen was closed and the only option to have food was a buffet. So no real opinion on the food served at normal hours but buffet was definitely rather disappointing with a distinct tourist trap overtone. The real deal is the terrace - really wonderful experience to sit outside and have... More

The café commands a great position in the village... We only stopped in for drinks, as the men fancied a beer! Beers and champagne were very good, but the only snacks they had were olives.. No crisps, nuts etc.. They offered food, but we had eaten lunch and just wanted something to nibble with our drinks.. I think they are... More
