This time in France we made a conscious decision to eat at restaurants we’ve not been to before. This one came to P’s attention with “rave reviews” and it’s everything the reviews say, an impressive property set in amongst vines with a view of nearby...More

The restaurant made a special effort to create a delicious vegan meal including home-made bread and of course Cahors wine from this region.

I have visited this restaurant in the past and the dining area was somewhat basic. They have now moved into a lovely huge barn conversion on the other side of the courtyard. The food is always reliable and imaginative. We had smoked haddock fish cakes...More

Lovely historic buildings, beautifully renovated. Excellent service and food all round. The only reservation is the need to make a reservation,....we didn't and could not be accommodated although were very glad to have returned the following day.

Wow fantastic main dish today. Well cooked food, friendly service and a fantastic setting. My groans are that I wanted more! The desert could have had more attention to it, but warm crumble and it was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

A perfect outing for lunch on a hot summers day, everything about this place is elegant and thoughtful, we ate in the shady court yard, but there is an equally appealing inside space with a lovely fireplace, so I am sure it will be equally...More
