Very nice meal with good choice of menu. Briancon old town is beautiful and this restaurant very atmospheric. Worth the trek up the hill!

Very nice little restaurant in the old town that gave us great wine and full blown a full raclette experience. The service was excellent, and very friendly. I was with 7 french friends who know the alps very well and they thought the food was great too.

We went there, group of 9, during the first week of january 2015, for fondue, and that's exactly what we had. The restaurant has a cosy relaxed atmosphere and the place wasn't crowded. the tables are quite tiny, french bistrot style that I will never get used to, but in some way we all seem able to squeeze in and... Great little place - A nice, cosy, buzzing feel. four of us shared a meat fondue and a cheese fondue - both were great (around 22- 24 eur pp). Friendly atmosphere. We also had 3 bottles of wine (can't remember what it was but tasted good) and 2 coffees - Total bill was around 160 eur. This is in a... More

We visited after reading the reviews on TA. We were not disappointed. Steaks cooked well. Reasonably priced wines. English speaking waitress. Recommended

We had a delicious dinner here when staying in Briancon for a ski weekend. We phoned from UK to reserve a table and left a message. Restaurant phoned us back and confirmed table was OK. Lots of character and our table was right next to a beautiful open fire. We had the special Menu Valentin which was superb value -... More

It was a long walk up the hill from our hotel to the old town of Briancon, but we were more than happy that we made the effort to find this delightful restaurant. We both had the set menu for 19:90 euros and found it very good value. The first course of asparagus and carrot terrine was delicious as was... More

We visited the beautiful medieval village of Briancon after spending a whole day skiing in Montgenevre. We found Le Valentin restaurant while walking along the narrow roads of Briancon and we do not regret stopping there for dinner. The place looked like a traditional local townhouse, very welcoming with a warm fireplace inside. The staff were really helpful and friendly,... More
