We went in here on a Saturday night, there was 4 people in the whole place, with us in it made 6. Not a good sign but we decided to stay instead of driving again to somewhere else. There were no staff to be seen,...More

A warm and welcoming pub with lots of log fires and a lovely atmosphere. Food delicious, we will be back. Puddings are also amazing!!!

The new owners have done a good job cleaning the pub up and we were really hoping that the food would be good too, but I'm afraid it wasn't meant to be. Having tried the meals now on 3 separate occasions, unfortunately it never quite...More

Popped in for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Waited ten minutes for our menus; had to ask for them in the end. Order was taken quickly and then what happened? People who came in after us, were served before us. After a forty...More

Nothing good to say. Long wait for the food, which was not worth the wait. Hardly any people in, the lager was flat. It just seems like an empty dead space. Awful.

Nice food and helpful staff, can't beat it on a cool October day. Really nice setting and welcoming staff.

DEFINITELY ONE TO AVOID! Had to wait ages to be served, when the food arrived it was average and just warm. Then witnessed the owner man -handle a young woman and the police were called. Altogether a dreadful experience

Went in here on 13th October. Bland decor, bland atmosphere, grumpy staff. Not much custom and I can see why. We won't be returning.
