The taste of the food was different providing a novel experience. The food supplied was ample to say the least and neither of us could actually eat it all. Service was a bit lax and the ambience of the restaurant was average.

My friend and I visited this place twice. If you are a vegetarian this place is for you. They serve meat, lamb and chicken as well. There is a vegan platter in the menu. I ordered meat and I was a bit disappointed because it...More

For a Friday night, this place was dead. A few other diners and one waitress who was nice if not overly efficient. We haven't had this cuisine before so can't comment on then authenticity. It was pleasant enough although the texture of the chicken in...More

Had a recommendation for this place and absolutely loved it. Staff were extremely helpful and food was excellent. They also have this excellent imported beer. Try the coffee stout. Beer and coffee do go well together! Would recommend this to anyone even if you have...More

Took our four girls out for tea and we had a good night. The food was tasty, ask for the hot flavour not mild. Had the meat platter and the vege platter and both were enjoyed along with the injera. The two gluten free waters...More

This restaurant recently changed its name. It was called The Meeting Tree and it is still the same restuarant that was The Meeting Tree. Here is what I put in my journal when I ate there: VERY POOR SERVICE and rude staff. Not open when...More

We had a delicious meal at Adulis tonight ... the restaurant itself is a bit hard to spot as it's in a row with some others, right across the road from Moore Wilson in Tory Street. We decided to have two vegan meals (we're not...More

This used to be the Meeting Tree which was not good at all, so we are really happy it has undergone a transformation, including its name and chef. We dined in, the management was very friendly and the food was quick in coming. We had...More

I first ran into Ethiopian cuisine in Ethiopia (funny, that), and instantly fell in love with it. It's not super spicy but it is spicy enough; it's not Mediterranean but it's close; it's not Middle Eastern but it's close; it's not quite the same as...More

Firstly I think this resaurant was formally called the meeting tree, the service was very poor and the food took ages to arrive we were there almost 2 hours and cancelled some meals as they had not arrived.
