You could go to Eleuthera and never experience what Bahamian food and culture is all about. Places like Tippy's and the resort restaurants are fine if your looking for Americanized Bahamian food surrounded by well to do Americans. But if you want to experience the real Bahamas then try some of the places scattered all over the island. Most real... More

An really nice place located in the North Palmetto area. They are kind and honest with prices. Considering that the area is quite poor in restaurant and that the quality often is under the minimum level this place saved our lifes more than one time.

We wanted a place that was close to our cottage at Ten Bay and heard from a frequent visitor to the island that Sweet Dreams was good. And good it was! We went on a Wednesday night at 6:30 and had the whole place to ourselves! Our food was very tasty and fresh and my husband enjoyed the classic rock... More

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by this little hole in the wall looking place. We went to the Unique Village last night, we spent $140 with tip for dinner. As we chose to eat breakfast we were ecstatic to see the prices to be had here. More along normal rates we've come to expect while traveling in resort... More

This lil young rock star blew our heads away! Her food was amazing prices you can't beat and service with a smile. We called in advance and she prepared to our liking just for our family. We will be back for sure! Must go to this restaurant a lil tricky to find; BUT TRUST ME FIND IT!

We were starving from a morning if kayaking and paddle boarding, and we had delicious grouper sandwiches, burgers, and shrimp - the fries were excellent, too. Good service and everything was fresh and hot.

This newish little restaurant in North Palmetto Point has good food and very low prices. A grilled ham and cheese is $5 and the fresh cracked conch is $12 (you could hear the cook pounding the conch in the kitchen after you ordered it). The beers are $4 and we ate well for half of what we had been paying... More

Precious is the very nice lady that runs Sweet Dreams and will take good care of you for a quick take-away or you can dine in as she has a few tables. Burgers, conch were very tasty and she even made a grilled cheese for the younger one. Prices are very reasonable for the island so give her a try... More
