We ordered the Sole Fisch for 8,75€ , the waiter came back after 5 min. And told us the Sole Fisch was out, but he offered us another Fisch but did not tell us it was double the price!! We were shocked when we received the bill. The owner was very rude and told us next time I will tell... More

Despite the rather generic and uninspiring menu on display outside the specials of the day are well worth the price. Family friendly too, willing to modify the children's menu dishes to cater for fussy eaters. Not the cheapest option but definitely good value for money, and frequented by local customers, always a good sign I believe. Easily the best meal... More

I am writing this review whilst we are sitting in the restaurant. We shared the house pate as a first course - great. AFrom the recommendations of the day I had the sea bass. Really well cooked and tasty. My wife ordered the grilled squid. This proved to be disappointing as it was tough and rubbery. Upsetting because one always... More

Coming to la Santa for many years, we noticed a complete change of staff and food presentation in September, only to see it was different again. The aforementioned change was not to our liking and we were more after good quality canarian seafood. Oddly, the daily specials came on a handwritten piece of paper, some of the olden day options... I have reviewed this restaurant before always enjoying the food but wary of the hand written specials menu. This time we ate off the main menu and had a really good meal. I had fillet steak, cooked rare, in mushroom sauce and it was excellent. my wife had fresh fish which was equally good. the waiters were friendly and not... More

An interesting meal. Tapas starters very good. Main courses mixed standard all served with a vegetable dish which was served cold. Majority of group found them distasteful. Other aspects of meal very good including service.

Although slightly disappointed that this small seaside resort had no restaurants directly overlooking the truly spectacular seascape - probably the best around the whole island - we were happy to find this very friendly terraced restaurant on the Main Street. From the handwritten menu of the day, we chose fresh sea bass cooked with caramelised onions. A new experience for... More
