The hubs and I were starving after spending time at the Cliffs, so we stopped at Chervil for their massive platter of fish and chips. It didn't disappoint. I wouldn't rave over the "chips," but he fish was flaky, fairly light, and just what we needed after a long morning of activity.

This place was highly recommended by our tour bus driver for fish and chips so we were really excited to eat there. However the enjoyment ended very fast when we go our food. One of my friends got the seafood stew, which tasted really good and then crunch he found fish bones in the soup! Yuck. Finally me and my... More

Had decent fish and chips on the cafe side. The chips were some of the best I've had. Seafood chowder was decent as well.

I had booked a lunch on St. Patrick's Day for approx. 15 people for a birthday of a family member. I cannot express how perfectly the whole day went - in no short part to the help and service provided by the staff of the Chervil Restaurant. The entire experience went perfectly, and everyone was so friendly, accommodating and helpful.... More

We recently had an exceptional meal at Chervil restaurant during our stay at Hotel Doolin, the food was second to none. We have a gorgeous three course meal, and were absolutely stuffed afterwards! The quality of food is top notch, one of the nicest meals we have had a long time, and the waiting staff really nice. My main course in... More

My mother and I ate here after touring The Cliffs of Moher. We both really enjoyed our food. Service was perfect. I had fish and chips. But this wasnt street food fish and chips. The cod filet was superbly prepared! Mom's chowder was perfect.

Very odd!!! Got a table. It was dirty. Had to serve ourselves to get cutlery. Food arrived. Chips... More

I was looking forward to having dinner here with a group of friends as I'd heard wonderful things about it from friends who'd attended weddings in this hotel. Sadly my experience was not a positive one. There were about 40 people in the dining room comprised of 4 different parties of people. The service was very very slow and poor... More

Great service and plenty of fresh local fish. A little pricey but worth every Euro. The pub attached is also a laugh and great for a pint of Guinness and traditional music.

The service was rushed and awkward, the breading on the fish was rubbery, the chips were mildly soggy, and the stew was not tasty at all. I never had a bad meal while visiting Ireland, until we stopped at Chervil. Three of us had rubbery fish. It wasn't a one time thing. We will not be back.
